So this means that it's going to be around £30 to get a code - I think they (TESCO) ask for at least this to be spent.

Was happy to use TESCO until found that despite piggy-backing off of o2 they don't support email,so I cannot use the email service in the phone. Which you can with other providers.

What is this BB5 nonsense anyway?

It is a new platform that Nokia are using in the new phones that the free unlock codes we produce are not compatible with. If a free solution is going to be made it will be a long way away.

Yes the least to be spent is £30 and they will give you the code.

That means the phone is hardlocked and can onlyt be unlocked via cable.

I have a cable, is there something I can dowload or do I need to take it to a shop

You will need to take it to a shop/car boot who will charge arounf £5 to do it, as I dont think the software is available to download for doing this.
