    Hi mate it will be for your phone not the sim, what is your IMEI number asnd will get a security code for you mate if you put the wrong code in a few times your phone will be locked and thats not good !!

    Strange, the default security codes for nokias is 12345, have you tried that ? It might be a code for the sim card but that usually asks for a pin code not a security code.

    Sorry. My error. It turned out to be a security code that I had chosen and subsequently forgotten. Phone now working. Thanks very much for all your help!

    I want to unlock a nokia 6230i from o2 IMEI: 357066005848148

    read somewhere that you must unlock the 6230i with the original network SIM in it? is that true?

    Put a non O2 simcard in your phone and enter this code :- #pw+005 223 220 344 236+7#
