No free way to unlock it but go to this link for instructions to unlock but you do have to pay for it.

Some help please, I have a Nokia 6230i IMEI No is 357616006861316 and it was on Orange, I paid on-line for an unlock code but the instructions did not tell me to put in the "wrong" SIM. Whilst the code was succesful and i received a message saying "phone restriction off" I am unable to make any calls with either Orange or Virgin SIM.
From your threads it appears I should have put my Virgin SIM in first, can I re-enter an unlock code and if so how do I get back to this point?
PS - great work, what a service, my faith in human nature is being restored!0 -
Is this the code they gave you ? #pw+257 905 677 541 116+7#0
