    Hey Everyone,

That's a lot of steps Starnac! I think you earned the McD's, lol. Well done on the 1 lb loss, and good luck for next week :)
    Happy birthday Fervent! :bdaycake:

Well done on sacrificing your birthday presents Moneyspider! :A It will all be worth it when you get back 'in the black' :)

Welcome to the thread GreenSaints :)

Well I've been really stressed out with things for ages but am feeling pretty chilled out at the moment :). I've finally accepted that I can't do 'everything', if you know what I mean. I always set myself really high standards and take too much on, but I've kind of stepped back and accepted that it's OK to just mull along for a while when I've got got a lot on, and not be too hard on myself.

I've been doing a lot of exercise lately and have been going out to the park and things with my boys (getting lots of fresh air :)), and I'm feeling a lot better for it. Just done 15 mins on the power plate - it should have been 20 but I just couldn't manage it :o. I did 20 mins yesterday and really pushed myself (I'm still aching today!), so that's probably why. Hoping to go for a long walk around the lakes tomorrow and spend a bit of time at the parks, but the weather wasn't great today, so fingers crossed it's nicer tomorrow!

I think the stone in a month goal may be a bit of a long shot now :o, lol. How's everyone else getting on with it?

I think that the less said about this the better!
I for one would need nothing less than a miracle. Could much easier put on a stone in a month!

On a positive note, I haven't put any weight on. Ever, at all, whatsoever. But then again I also haven't lots any weight. Ever, at all, whatsoever.
I've weighed myself at the same time in the morning, not each and every day, but fairly often, and it has been bang on exactly the same every day.
I did at first think that the scales were broken and stuck or something on that weight :o but got DS1 to stand on them, and they are right!
It doesn't matter whether I've had a few good days, or a few bad days. Just no change.

It's *cough* stone 8.5lbs. So I'm just focusing on loosing 9lbs, to get into that illusive next stone down. Then I think I would be mega motivated as would be so disappointed to see it go back up again.

  • Happy birthday MoneySpider and Fervent .

I haven't updated in a while so not sure where I was last up to with the weight loss but I've had 4 weigh ins on my slimmathon so far and I've lost 11lbs :D. This was week 1 - 3.5lbs, week 2 - 2.5lbs, week 3 - 1lb and week 4 - 4lbs. Really pleased with progress so far and feeling better already but I've got a way to go yet.

Planning to spend extra time preening and sparkling in the morning as this has fallen by the wayside somewhat recently.

Weighed and measured this morning. Not lost any weight but I was delighted to find I've lost 2" from my hips. The scales were wavering towards the lesser weight so may be next week I'll have something to report. This has really inspired me to be good this week.

Going to a Ceildh tonight so a little bit of exercise there to be had ;)
Will give myself a little sparkle in preparation for going out.

Well done on inches loss Durham mim. That's more important really as muscle weighs more than fat.

Thats what I keep telling myself. I have done this exercise program before years ago and it really worked, I just need to stick at it.

Well done on the weight loss.

I'm doing Callanetics, it was designed for people with bad backs, it is gentle but effective, ideal for those with ME. So far I'm managing to stick to it with no adverse effects. Before I became ill with ME about 14 yrs ago I used to go to the gym 3 times a week. When the ME kicked in I felt as if I was going to throw up and just felt generally ill each time I went to the gym. Since then getting exercise has been a real problem, even walking up to a mile is exhausting. Hence, the weight gain. Callenetics however, just tones up muscles. I have started off very slowly and very gently but am already feeling the benefits.
