Hello
Can I join in? I love the idea of a bit of sparkle!! Sometimes it's so easy to get wrapped up in the DFW penny-watching I forget it doesn't take money to treat myself
After reading the thread the night before last, I was inspired!! The first thing I did yesterday was go for a run - I say a run, there was lots of puffing and walking done, but it's a start, right? After my shower, I put on my body lotion (cheap as chips from Mr T, but it works really well) and put on some make-up.
My exercise today will be mostly cleaning, but off bowling tonight so will be sparkling later :T2019 Aim: Save £10,000

Eugh, 1.5lbs back up today
BUT I do know where it's come from as I had a bad afternoon of grazing on crisps and stuff yesterday afternoon, so I guess it's important for me to have that jolt that it's all to easy to put those lbs back on.
Must try harder!
Need to get my house sparkling at the moment though, not least so that I've got space to get the Wii fit out - will need a blomin' good dust first- and am going to attempt a bit of Zumba  if i can get a video up on the youtube channel on the Wii... Oh dear

Hi all sounds like everyone is doing really well
I've had a health scare but thank goodness it just turned out to be a nasty reaction to Persil washing powder. Its left me in even more need to feel some sparkle. I've signed up for the Race for Life in July so I'm on the look out for some hot pink accessories

I have a confession to make......last week I put on 3lbs! I was so shocked. I am pre-menstrual and usually put on at least a 1lb but I didn't expect 3lbs. I have been really good with the diet this week and have managed to loose 1lb but I'm not adding it. I will wait until I have lost the other 2lbs before I start adding any weight loss which will probably be after my period, whenever that is, I'm in the early stages of the menopause and my monthlies are all over the place. I've been encouraged by this weeks weight loss as it shows the diet works when stuck to properly.Weight loss 0/2st

Its amazing how losing a couple of inches has given me such a confidence boost.
Well done you! I've also decided this would be the year I try to dress more stylishly...so yay to lovely skirts & dresses! I will even try to make the effort of wearing a nice skirt/dress every time I go out - I usually forget!

Hey Everyone,
Just nipping in as things are hectic at the mo, but just wanted to give my total for the weight loss challenge... I lost another 1.5 lbs this week, so have lost 3.5/14 lbs. Not great really...
This is the second week I've lost 1.5 lbs though so I'm hoping to carry that on for each week in June, and will aim to lose 6 lbs this month. Hopefully this will be a little more achievable. I'm also feeling quite pale so am planning on getting a bit of colour built up (out of a bottle
) and wearing make up more often.
What are everyone else's goals for the month?
Good question. I think I will try to improve my diet. Must try to eat at least 3 different fruits a day & stay off the dairy (snacking on cheese is my downfall) - might also help with the awful hay fever I am suffering at the moment!
I'm really impressed with everyone's healthier lifestyle changes/weight losses - you are ALL doing really well! :T
Haven't done much by way of sparkling this month: attended a day spa & swam 10 lengths (a record for me), and also remembered to pamper my hands the other day! Baby steps...

Hi all, not posted here for a while as not much to report. I have however, begun a blog you can find the link in my contact details. It is in its very early stages.
Its my DD2 18th this Sunday and we are going for a meal in the evening. The poor girl could not get the day off work for her birthday so will have to think how to make what little time she has special.Weight loss 0/2st

Feeling really frustrated today. 3 weeks ago I put on 3lbs last week I lost 1lb and this week I've put on 1lb. Just don't know whats going on. The scales just aren't moving in the right direction. To add to the disappointment the tape measure is also stuck at the same points, so no inch loss either
Have to continue as cannot afford to gain anymore weight. I know if I lost weight I would have so much more energy. I'm just too impatient.Weight loss 0/2st

Had a sparkle morning. I've showered & conditioned my hair, done a facial scrub, applied a face mask and then moisturized all over. I'm wearing a skirt for the second day in a row and tonight I'm going out for a birthday mealWeight loss 0/2st
