Hi everyone, haven't been on for a while as I've been having a little meltdown but that's another story.
Sounds like everyone's doing well. And welcome to all the newbies
I haven't weighed myself yet because... I don't have the guts! But I have been good. I've quit all the snacking which is amazing for me. I'm having healthy breakfasts, healthy lunch and then healthy but still probably too much dinner. I've also cut out almost all of the booze. Did have a sneaky couple last night though and then compounded it with a cooked brekky this morning!
I have also hit the gym a couple of times this week and boy am I paying for it now. It feels good though to get my heart pumping again. I say again, I mean ever lol.
So I will get the guts and go weigh myself. I was 10stone 3 last week so I will let you know the damagexx

Have been reading this thread all evening and would love to join. Thankfully I'm debt free but have previously been in a lot of debt and also spend far too much and eat and drink too much.
Just got back from 6 days in Bruges and am now (due to food, chocolate and beer) fatter than I've ever been (as well as a lot poorer - Bruges is ridiculously expensive!)
I feel so so unattractive. My fiance left me for someone else a few years ago and have been with the odd man between then and now but no-one special and am sure it is due to my weight (and corresponding lack of confidence).
I'm turning 34 this year and whilst my career is going great guns and I have amazing friends, I desperately want a husband and children (but the right person).
I am going to diet from tomorrow and start working out a heck of a lot - am also pledging to give up booze until at least the jubilee weekend (hard as my job is v stressful and drives me to the bottle!!)I want to be a writer0 -
Does anyone have any thoughts about Aldi makeup? I've heard its really good stuff and has good reviews but I'm not sure. Do they test on animals as well? I try really hard to avoid animal tested products.-Slimming World Challenge

Oooh I'm really excited now! I've just exchanged Tesco rewards for Spa gift vouchers. I'm treating my daughters who are 21 and 18 this month. Its also my birthday the day after my daughters 18th so I'm treating myself too! Looking forward to sparkling
Re diet: not going to well, managing to stick to the exercise though and its paying off, I'm beginning to get more toned up even if I'm not losing weight yet.Weight loss 0/2st

Hey Everyone,
Very quiet on here lately! I've not been very sparkly, but I've given it an extra push this week. I've been upping the exercise, being as good as poss foodwise, and have been trying to look after my skin a bit more as it's looking quite dull atm.
I lost 0.5 lbs last week - not much, but it's a start, lol. I think the stone in a month goal may be a bit of a long shot now, lol. How's everyone else getting on with it?

Hi lolly I lost 1lbs last week and hope to lose again this week but I agree the stone in a month may be a long shot. As long as I lose something I don't really mind.
On Wednesday I walked all the way to town and back which according to my pedometer was over 19.5k stepsI was pleased with that. I haven't done much else in the way of exercise this week although I have been watching what I eat a bit more *hides the mcD evidence from last night*

Ive been meaning to weigh myself for the last couple of days, but keep forgetting! and no point in doing it now coz ive just had dinner, will be leaving the weigh in for this week now i think
ive been keeping up with my Sparkles, conditioning and straightening hair, i definately can't get away with just smoothing it over now its getting longer. Moisturising is going well
I admit the toe nails could do with some polish, roll on summer sandal weather and i'll be more inclined to keep them in order!!
Debt wise, im working really hard to clear my overdraft, Im so close to actually paying it off now im getting excited!! :rotfl:
But it comes at a price...It's my Birthday today, but No prezzies just cash to sink into the OD. I can't remember the last time my account showed a Postitive balance, so if i can get it cleared by the end of the month, i'll be more than happyBuild your own dreams ~ or someone will hire you to help build theirs
