Hi everyone. Not been on for a while but have joined SW and lost 5lbs in 2 weeks :-) losing a stone in a month would be great but as I have 4 stone to lose I think I may need to go for a slower steady loss.
    Good luck everyone.
    :) Sparkle fund £5.50 :)

    Lose a stone in May 1/14 :j

OH bought me a big bar of Lint chocolate today as he thought I needed it after such a busy and stressful week last week. Was sweet of him, so I didn't want to refuse it :)
I didn't want to sound ungrateful so instead once I'd eaten it I said that I suppose I'd better be on a diet now, and then made it sound like I'd just decided I was going to try really hard for the rest of the month. So know he knows :)

Don't think I'll make a stone again, but a girl can try, right :)

I haven't posted on here for a bit. The get fit part is going well and my fund is building as a result. Debtfree is going more slowly but I'm struggling to feel much sparkle at the mo. Suspect its just lots of work and horrible weather... roll on summer :)

I just didn't want him to feel bad, as he'd tried to be really sweet!!

Although to be fair, he does know that I'm always saying I need to make sure I'm good with not having treats etc - because they have been creeping in since I was pregnant, that it's more routine now than 'treats', but then he seems to forget that!
Every so often there's lots of tears when I get really fed up with putting on lots of weight, and the next day he comes home with lots of fruit etc and makes me a big fruit salad or something, to try and be supportive, but then it soon fizzles out and goes back to choccys and what not.

Still, I can always say No.
(Except I bloomin never do - hence the problem :o :rotfl:)

Hi everyone, can I join in too please :D

I've had a rotten year and lost my sparkle completely. In January my car got written off after I was hit in the side by someone jumping a red light. I then had a couple of months stress with extended family issues, dealing with the insurance comany, buying another car, then having a meltdown because I was too scared to drive.

I was saying just the other day that I want my sparkle back, I hate feeling dowdy and frumpy. Last night the straw that broke the camels back happened. I was sitting eating dinner in shapeless jogging trousers and the most awful teeshirt that is too baggy, and the wrong colour for me when a baked bean leapt off my fork and trailed bean juice down it. I can laugh now but last night I had a meltdown and once washed I've cut the teeshirt and trousers up for rags.

Today I vow to sparkle from now on regardless what happens in life, oh and lose weight for besties wedding in August, and pay off my debts.

Did anyone pick up RED magazine and get a free Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish with muslin cloth? I've always wanted to try Liz Earle but have never afforded it.
