Support Each Other in Looking For Work - Pt 2

Back from a short trip away, booked when I had work, it was the break I needed and got back to the applications today with the new Jobsite listings. At least now there are no more interruptions in the year that might put people off giving me work.
Agency rang last thing yesterday but unfortunately whatever work they were offering needed a CRB, which costs £80 and only lasts two years - yet another nice little earner for a licensing system and simply not an option in the month that Council Tax restarts and water and energy bills were due. Still, at least it's something I wouldn't have got anyway so it's not the same as being rejected.
The news about the economy just makes it a bigger fight, but I'll get there!0 -

I have an appointment with Remploy tomorrow (hope I manage to find their offices ok). I am hoping that they will be able to help me find work.0 -
Well found a job to apply for albeit still the same line of work so tihnk ill apply for it and see what they say about the hours as the ad says 8 - 39 hours so not sure if that means the jobs are varied hours eg 8 1 week and 39 the next week or theres various jobs with various hours. The downside is its less money but the hours could be plenty and no 6 am starts.0
