I've got a 2nd interview tomorrow after 12 years out of work
I'm nervous as there has been nothing else suitable advertised since I applied for this role 6 wks ago.
It's with the other short-listed candidates and will be 3 hours of group exercises.
    Sounds like fun doesn't it?!

November5th - sometimes it's the interviews that don't appear to have gone so well that you get the offer for. best of luck.

Good Luck Quietheart! Make tomorrow count, that's the only solution to the tumbleweeds once you get an interview.

It's not the same for me, I do have work coming up but if it all comes in, then I'm going into the mystery world of "Pro Rata". I just have to see what my wages look like at the end of that job to decide if I'd ever do it again, right now I'm just happy it's there but have to balance it out with travel and definitely make my own lunch if there are times that I won't be working full days.

I can check the full-time ads whilst that job is going on and only throw myself into the very best. Once I know how long it's meant to be, I could restart one week before the end of the job.

The Pro Rata work didn't happen, luckily I had something regular to fall back on. Back to the grindstone. Getting plenty of acknowledgements without rejections, now to break through to the next step of an interview.

The best job of the bunch was thankfully a CV upload, so perfect start to the day and somewhere that has six other divisions you could possibly work.

Never thought about driving for a living for example, but it would depend whether you'd need class extensions to a bog-standard UK pink licence to do courier or other delivery-related stuff like that. That's another avenue to research.

Some days you have to face up to priorities, my favourite computer game is listed at over 400 hours' play over approximately 18 months, if I put that much concentrated time into looking for work, I'd have a job.

So! Time to concentrate even hard from now on, so completing a recent agency signup and going back to the grindstone, if I could just get a clear weekend to drill out nothing but job applications that would at least give me the feeling of doing more than I am.
