The true cost of having a pet yet again cud b nxtdoor not speaking to me!

Her cat loves my cat..........my cat hates every other Cat created. Most times the fact that hers (he is lovely) spends half the day HOWLING for mine she usually let's slide.

Tonight however she is in real Asbo mode and is chinning poor starz (she doesn't touch him as he runs off). But our front doors (grn floor flats) are nxt to eachother. Woman ( a bit of a whimp) screams at mine, mine doesn't care, and her cat darent go home.

B 4 anyone says shut my cat in she is in hyper mode and it doesn't wrk anyhow as starz just goes back to Seranading my shut door!

I think if she wud just stop interfering it wud b ok.......and she doesn't bother with him anyhow......no wonder he wants to be in here.

So far I'm ignoring her.....just another slant on the cost of pets?!

having pets is great but sadly costs a lot.

had to recently get rid of our cats due to rising costs and it broke our hearts.

we just couldnt afford them anymore.

I am cutting down wherever I can to avoid ever having to do that....

BUT just looked into my online banking and the (*&$£^$"^" EDF has claimed TODAY the money I told them I will pay on the 28th (when I get paid).

    1) There was not enough on my account for this payment so it will bounce (bank charges)
    2) What was on the account was exactly enough to cover my internet DD due tomorrow (now that will bounce - another charge) and a small payment I made with my card in a shop last week( bank will charge)

As it is a basic Co-op account - they are likely not only charge me 3 times but also close the account.

I really need NOT this "£$%^&*()_ now.

Spoke to EDF latst week and set up DD to start 2nd of MAY and to agree t make this current payment on the 28th April - they had absolutely no right to call for any money on 16th April !!!!

Sent them an extremely abusive email just now, but the damage is done.

I would not even try to guess what my blood pressure may be now.....

I have no time to sort this out, I should nto have to be having to sort anything out - it is THEIR mistake tht is gonna cost me lots of money and a lot of grief if my account gets closed because of that...

Jesussssssssssssssssss, it does not rain, it pours :(

EDIT - brilliant, just got an auto reply from EDF - they are going to get back to me within 10 days, I do not have !"£$%^&*() 10 days.....

    Woaaah...........stop,breathe......and kick !!!

All kekky companies r horrid, pay very small amount ,they then can't cut u off.

Change banks, right royal pain in the !!! but in this day and age to be honest look at the positive, banks need people to survive!
Switch to santander ,get the £100 and then switch again to one you fancy or gives u best deal.

I have had HUGE arguments with energy suppliers...u gotta go in with the attitude THEY r wrong and u don't care either way,let em take u to court, they can't cut u off ir ur still paying even a small amount is my understanding.

When I had real money problems a few years ago I had various bank accounts ,not to be dodgie, but just so if things whent tits up with one I had another to use and put my money in,and more importantly cud get it back out.

Personally at the moment I am like my granny and have a stash of cash as don't trust banks and present climate.

U any calmer yet?......if not I'm happy to meet outside any energy supplier and hack em to pieces.....they all take pee out of consumer.

Calicocat - thanks, pls bring some digging equipmen, will have to bury some bodies.

No, not calmed down yet - getting more and more )*^(%(% off actually.

I can not just open another account (long story - debts) and even if I could - do not have the time to deal with changing where my salary goes to , changing pets insurance DD etc etc

Jesussssssssssssss, what possesed me to call them last week and to set up a DD They made right messa out of it, no money was supposed to go from my account on the 16thhhhh

I was supposed to call them on the 28th and pay the £%$*^$*^%$ bill and DD was supposed to start from 2nd May.

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Will call them in the morning, got to go to bed (remove 25kg of cats from the bed first of course.. or just move them a bit to get a small space for myself) as got to get up at 5am....,

    Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

    Thanks

No need for spades.....hello....cook,feed to dog, rest does to local pig farm.......everything gets eaten in a pig farm.

Right.....don't change bank accounts, open up a savings one,one where u only need £1 to open, when u get paid u take out all cash you need to live.....then,if bank gets funny u have money to live off, done it all b 4 myself swapping stuff around, but ALWAYS keep access to cash.

Also prioritise ur standing orders and dd,is there any that won't matter right now that won't cut u off from life.

Also had this with a friend who became really depressed (wudnt happen to me as I'd kill them first) but u really do have to go in with the concept that YOU r the consumer.....without people they wudnt exist......pretend u r really important,it's amazing how that wrks compared to being sorry etc....Really try it.
