Oakley has given his heart to a certain white GSD though... can't mention her name without him going bonkers. Yesterday he excelled himself though, my friend texted me to let me know what time we were walking... Oakley woke up and went crackers! Now... I can understand him hearing her voice had she phoned, but a text??? I swear that dog has ESP! Sid, however is more ESN,,

Its a pity her GS mates can't persuade their owners to look after her for you!!

  • Cats litter 40 per month

I currently have 6 cats who use litter trays & don't access outside. I use Yesterday's News litter. This is a pelleted litter which costs me £10.99 for 30 lbs (13.5kg) bag, which I buy in bulk, which lasts me about 3 weeks per bag. So with 4 cats that would probably last me about a month. I buy it from R&L Pet Products who will deliver free.

The litter is made from re-cycled newspaper (hence the name) & the great thing is you don't need to put much in the tray at a time. I use 3 litre scoops for use in a large tray for 2 or 3 cats. You can scoop the 'solid' stuff out & flush it down the loo. It is low tracking a not to bad at odour control.
Cats worming/flea treatment 20 per month (rough estimate)

I use Frontline for flee control for my cats, which I buy in boxes of 6 but I buy a few boxes at a time fome on-line vet pharmacies. I last used Vet Medic who charged £17.45 for the 6 pipettes.

I use Viovet, Vetmedic & Petdrugsonline & when I want to order I do a price check, to see what their best price is. I have also managed to negotiate a 5% discount with Petdrugsonline when I have rung up in the past by haggling, telling them how much I want to buy. Also I have managed to get a discount code of VVRMPJZYU from Viovet which gives a discount of £3 if you spend over £15 & gives free delivery.

I have just started using majic clean crystals £5 for one (small) bag that lasts a month with no need to change! I was a bit sceptical at first about this but it really does work and no smell. It's also boi/deg so you can put it in your compost apparently not that I have one.
Obviously with six cats it would be £30 but that £10 cheaper than £40 and might come in bigger bags that are cheaper....and it is REALLy light to move/carry and no tracking at all, just the odd bits that have been kicked out around the tray by a cat that has no clue what it's doing.
Obviously you pick out poos but the pee just disappears.
