tried the matt but trays are too big/take too much space to have a mat there as well.

It is possible that ow I am back at work I notice the tracking/digging more as it accumulates through the day when I am out - before I was forever sweeping...

Uhm, not sure actually GR, I do prefer when it clumps as it just "lifts out" the wood pellets for instance, is not clumping and it crumbles and falls everywhere :(

If it is clumping you after - by all means try Oko Plus, looks /smells like wood pellets but clumps so should be good for what you looking for.

I don't think the tracking is any worse than the clay clumping stuff I was using before. Both trays are pretty deep...especially the Modkat....so they dont dig it out, but do bring a little on their paws when they jump out. Nothing quick sweep doesn't sort out.
It is so much easier to dispose of too as it is light enough to go in the kitchen bin without the bags splitting with the weight when I change them.

I've started using Pettex Pampuss Woodbase Cat Litter. It's £10.99 for a big 30l bag, but it's free delivery so you don't have the hassle of carrying it. It had really good reviews on Amazon, that's why I decided to try it. The wood pellets are quite large so they fall off the cats paws before they get the chance to track far.

    Hi GR

Where do you get your salmon oil? I'm considering it, along with everything else I am considering!

It's the bloomin' dog walker that's the costly bit here _pale_.... I know you've no choice but if you take that off, you're probably down to what I'd call an "average" cost.....

How's she getting along with the Skinners?

Think you're doing really well with the cats :T mine did work out around £50 / month plus their insurance (£18.75) last year but I did do a huge stockpile of food last year:

    - Mia's wet food - still have around 3 months worth left :)
    - Archie's wet food - have 4 x 12 boxes & a friend kindly got me 6 boxes when they were on offer @ Mr T a few weeks ago (none in my local one) so that should last him around 3 months :)
    - Dry - have around 3-4 months of both types of RC so again looking good there!

Hoping their costs will be hugely lower this year :)
    Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
    2016 Sell: £125/£250
    £1,000 Emergency Fund Challenge #78 £3.96 / £1,000
    Vet Fund: £410.93 / £1,000
Debt free & determined to stay that way!

Zara is still not really talking to me re Skinners.. but she eats it.. as she has no choice ;)

Dog walker is not a luxury, a bare necessity I am afrad, dog's basic right to a decent walk half way through a day while I am slaving away to pay for it... sighhhh
