Have you seen that Zooplus are now selling Grau in 800g jumbo tins? It makes it a very affordable choice, and as you say, these dense pate foods really do fill the cats up better and for longer.0 -
hmm - will be scouring butchers for offal deals again methinks. typically they appear to now PREFER butchers classic as less chewing required to eat it!0

I've recently started using stovies horse bedding wood pellets for our cats' litter tray. £4.99 for a 15KG bag, it is saving me a fortune. A bag is easily lasting me 4 weeks and that is for two indoor cats.0

I get them from local agri feed store, where I buy feeding for my ponies from.
They are just same as cat litter wood pellets, or I guess as wood burner fuel pellets. If you could get them as wood burner fuel pellets, I think they are vat free or reduced, so even cheaper.
I certainly wont be going back to catsan, cat wood pellets, I was spending at least £4 a week previously, and the stovies are just as good if not better and don't seem to get much smell. Very absorbent, I am just washing tray every second change now, as tbh bottom of tray is dry. With likes of catsan, had to empty and wouldn't have dreamt of not washing out each change over. (Obvioulsy, I lift poops out as they arrive).0 -

Sure you will get something along same lines
any horse bedding wood pellets will be the same. Of course I am too mean to use them for horse bedding, ponies have to have good old cheap straw.

That will be non clumping of course and I only use (for cats) clumping.. Wood peletts was good when I had one cat, with 4 - did not pass the test LOL0
