Drives me up the wall putting some weight in litters and some in kg on zooplus website so put the bag on the scale to check..LOL
Will see, if I can convert from my fav Grey Master..
Saying that, for yearsssssssssssssssssss I used the wood pellet one from PAT as for one cat it was great.
With 4 (someties 6) the wood one was failing badly so looked and looked and tested till I found Biocat and Grey Master - both excellent and used them for longggggggggggggggg time.
So let me(cats) try the Oko Plus now - one is making some kind of a "deposit" as I type hehehe
It s the clumping ablility and tracking that I am mostly interested in...0 -
Ok - just one done a pee... not sure if I like that clumping, have a feeling my old one clumps much better.. will see how it goes0

Are your tray as massive as my trays though? LOL
size: 54 x 45.5 x 21 cm. Height of back: 29 cm
Two of them are as big as that :rotfl:0 -

If you clear it the minute they pee, it doesn't clump so well as compared to it being left for a little while...0 -
My bills for my pets (3 small furries) was £1320 last year, more than my car costs! This was including bedding, food, hay, vets, accessories - I have had higher bills in older pets, £1780 per year was the highest and I tend to take on older rescues so some have come with problems. These don't include boarding if I go away as I rarely use that. Veg is on top of that, I've spent £10-£20 a week on average on veg over the years.
and this for a so called or considered 'cheap' pet...0 -
1 thing I noticed this morning - tracking... bith of litter all over the place... hmmmm0

Added some Orijen, mixed it... no good.
Added some stocl after boiling a bit of turkey - no good.
Yesterday she was nto really starving as them lot had a packet of chicken wings to share. Zara is not that keen on wings BUT she likes them after the cats had them... she likes the "leftovers".
So Macius and Fred were both growling with their whole wings (Macius had 4 in the end, Fred had 3 - whole ones), Teddy and George had one each but I had to take the skin off for them first... then Zara finished all the wings off after the cats
Today she had absolutely nothing....
Yesterday caught her eating cat's dry food, she has never done it before - she was always only interested in cat's wet food. But as she needs to lose weight, had to reposition the dry food and now my cats eat on the kitchen counter... Good I live by mself and whoever comes to visit has own cats/dogs so nobody shocked about cats on the kitchen counter - this was the only place that cats can get on but Zara can not...
Tomorrow will be Skinners in a bowl day 3.. sigh...
Gotta love those Shepherds!! She's playing you like an expert! If she was a child and wanted chocolate and sweets all the time, would you be giving in to her.....??? I think not! :rotfl:
Mine have Skinners and raw - I always mix a bit in because sometimes I might not have time to defrost the raw stuff, and I don't want a complete change of food on those days. Last night was one of those days. They did the 'aww mum' look when I put it down. This morning they're going and munching on the odd bit that's left.... they won't starve though!0 -

Yes, I did warn you before that it can have a tendency to track a bit (though not as bad as other litters I've had). My litter trays are enclosed and I have mats at the entrance/exit which reduce the amount of tracking a lot, as most of the bits get caught up in them (and then I just empty them back in the trays).0 -
Oooh somebody talk some sense in to me!
Despite reading through this thread over and over, I am still considering getting a second dog. Not very MSE when I am trying to pay off debts.
I should stop myself looking at the rescue sites!
Be tough on me pleeeeease!0 -
Caroline - I know I know
Katy - don't you dare LOL
FridayCat - tracks badly plus Macius the baby decides to dig it out all the time...
I have one tray with the old litter and one with OkoPlus - they use both but prefer the old onw, f=more "deposits" there LOL0
