  • Tried Skin79 Orange today & wow does it have good coverage. In fact it's a coverage I'm not used to, so will have to have a play about with it. I've never used a foundation before, only bb creams & regular tinted moisturisers.

At first I thought it was a bit too pale for my skin, but as it wore on, it seemed to match my skintone better.

The consistency of the product does not scream full coverage, but it does just that. Well worth a try if your used to using foundations.

i have received my missha BB yesterday (impressed as it took a week to arrive from Korea ). I ordered shade 23 which is the darkest of all the 3 shades.
It looked like my normal foundation shade so i was quite pleased about this as i was worried about being too pale.

When i tried it yesterday i found the cream quite thick in consistency, and gave me good coverage but at the same time felt that my skin could "breath".
I was a tad disappointed because its not all that different from my normal foundation, although i will continue to use the cream.

I've also just received this and have been using it. Its a very similar shade to the Etude House BB cream I already have but a much much more 'dewey' finish as the ET is quite matt. I want to try more now...did anyone find other companies that do darker shades?

I bought the Loreal Dream one in the lighter shade despite being tanned atm and I've been using it for a few days now, although its called a BB cream its more like a tinted primer or even a very light foundation, now I've got used to it I really love it, it lasts, can be layered and gives good coverage, its not as mosturising as the Asian BB creams and no SPF:( but I've got round that by using a separate product, I've had no reaction so far so fingers crossed, this product would be a good option for those who want a bit more coverage and colour and no shine and easy to buy:)
All power is from within and therefore under our control
  • Could anyone help me please? I would like to try an Asian BB cream after reading this thread –I like really light coverage - and dont like the feeling of foundation. But I have dry skin so I’d need one that moisturises – but I don’t have any dry patches – its just the skin on my face can get dry and feel tight. I’d like one with sun protection- ideally both UVB and UVA – is this what the ++ symbolises?
Does anyone know whether the Asian BB creams are tested on animals? This would be a deal breaker for me - if they do I’ll give one of the Western one's a go.

check out the missha site http://www.misshaus.com/ctrl.php?page=mainProductDetail&p_code=MSMS1052&ctg=AAA. This shows other shades that they have on offer. Might be worth trying ebay/amazon ?

Skin79 does not test on animals, however they do do a certain type of BB cream with snail mucous in it....I have been unable to figure out how this is collected..

I checked my skin79 hot pink bottle and it is UVA and UVB, but only SPF25. Hopefully others can help with other brands x

I'm waiting for a Holika Holika to arrive from Korea. Apparently it's been delayed because of the Olympics :rotfl:

I would try Skin79 hot pink. It gives light coverage & easy to apply.

rubyruby76 is a seller of genuine asian bb creams.

I would think snails are farmed for it, or they can come to mine and remove it from my windows :D
