I got a few samples of the new Skin 79 orange one in the post and the colour is perfect for my skin. Can see myself buying a full size of this one once I've gone through the gold and pink one's that have just arrived.

ooh what skin tone are you please?

hi ladies, I haven't been on here for a couple of weeks so have been catching up on this thread....well since I was last here I've tried a few more BB creams, namely Skin79 pink, Lioelle doll (sp?) and Missha in shade 23. :o

The Missha 23 is much better on my skin that shade 21, more like my usual make up, so I've been using this most days. I do really like the texture of Skin79 pink though, and with a sweep of bronzer it actually looks really natural and is great for that 'natural but glowing just got in from a 5 mile walk in the country' look!! :D

I'm really tempted to try Skin79 orange but it doesn't show on the skin 79 site, does anyone know why? Just wanted to compare the benefits with the pink.

Also has anyone tried anyof the pacts? I'm tempted by the skin79 Diamond one...although I'm not sure exactly what it does??!!!!!!

EDIT - ignore me I've found the orange on skin79's site, just couldn't see it on the comparison chart!

check out the missha site http://www.misshaus.com/ctrl.php?page=mainProductDetail&p_code=MSMS1052&ctg=AAA. This shows other shades that they have on offer. Might be worth trying ebay/amazon ?

Thanks for that, I'm off to Morroco in a couple of weeks so will definitely need something a bit darker.

So I've ordered the Skin 79 vital orange and while I was at if a pack of hot pink samples which are great to take away for a weekend break. (RubyRuby on Ebay). It'll take a week or two to arrive then I'll do a little trial and update y'all.

I've used the Skin 79 Hot pink compact more now and it is a bit pants. I think it is a pressed powder foundation with SPF and it is fine when used sparingly but trying to cover a spot on my nose was impossible as the powder just clumped.
Colour: darker than the liquid and slightly orange
Coverage: medium. Ok to cover redness but it empahasized my dry patches.

    hi
apologies if this has already been answered but can anyone recommend a BB cream without whitening properties for pale skin or do they all contain a whitening agent?

Read online yesterday that GOSH and Sleek are bringing out darker shade bb creams around September, spf 15 I think and costing around £8, the GOSH ones are in four self adjusting shades and the Sleek looks like two shades for darker skins.

  • Curious to try the Missha one that has spf 42 in it. What colour should I try to get samples of? I use Lily Lolo in Blondie shade and have also used MAC NW20 (fractionally too dark but not much) and Revlon Colorstay in Sand Beige.

Also has anyone used BB cream as a base for other foundation? I'm happy with my Lily Lolo but would like a more flawless finish sometimes. I have melasma (hyperpigmentation) so doubt a BB cream would give me enough coverage on its own.
