I never got my item in the end. Rubyruby76 kept asking me to wait, until the deadline for making a claim had passed (I could kick myself for being so trusting), then she simply ignored my messages. I couldn't even leave a negative feedback. She never refunded my money (so basically, it's theft). I am really disgusted by this experience - I can't stand dishonesty.
Glad others have had no problems, but be careful! In this case, the only reason she hasn't got a neg from me is that it was too late. I suspect the same happens to other buyers.0 -

That's a shame.I buy from Bellogirl and always had fast deliveries and sweet little notes in with them.Hope she hasn't gone downhillIf women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -
Have just read through most of the posts on this thread and must say I am very interested in trying out one of these eastern BB creams.....but which one. This is where I have become far too baffled and believe to have taken to many different options in!
Is anyone willing to help me deceifer which would be best for me?
On a normal day (school run/housework etc) i wear nothing more then Boots own brand sensitive moisturiser.
When going out for day or going to work I wear Max Factor foundation in creamy ivory with Max Factor translucent powder. Doesn't take long to apply but would love to try something as easy as moisturiser to apply on a busy morning.
I am brown/red/grey haired, blue eyes and reasonably pale. Tend to burn in sun and am prone to acne on chin. I also have quite deep forehead lines..(not gonna attract much on a lonely hearts advert :rotfl:)
I am mid 30's.
Anyone advise a BB to try, please?:silenced:0 -
Highly recommended by me is the new Sleek BB cream, £7.99 in Superdrug, fantastic coverage, non caking and not too shiny but still glowy, the shine is soon removed with some powder if you want to, I went for the second lightest colour there are four over all but as this range is aimed at women of colour its very pigmented so choose carefully, the only downside so far is its only SPF 15, excellent product and its manufactured in Taiwan. All power is from within and therefore under our control0

Sorry to resurrect an old thread - has anyone who used the Holika Holika BB creams (in the Petit range with the cat on the bottle - clearing, essential etc) noticed that the formula has changed? It used to be really white now it seems kinda yellow....this is from two different trusted sellers rubyruby and sing-sing-girl so they are definitely genuine products.

Sorry Compbunny, that must be about the only BB cream I haven't tried!
In fact as much as I love my Skin79 cream I have found I am allergic to Cinnamic aldehyde and trying to read the ingredients in Korean is a nightmare so I am trying to find one without it in now. Thanks for replying Marrowgirl
I'm sorry you can't use Skin79 any more, I love that one too
Have you thought about joining Makeupalley and asking on there? From what I've heard its quite a helpful international community so you might find someone who speaks both english and korean willing to help you with ingredients!

Such a shame
I use this cream. Can't say I've noticed, but that may be because I've recently started using a new face powder as well that's a bit too orangey for me!
I have an older tube in my make up drawer though so I will compare it to my most recent one and see.0 -
