I do but not for foundation, I think this would work really well, especially with mineral powder, I'll probably give it a go in the cooler weather, atm I use Loreal magique bb cream which is rather flat but keeps me matte really well and has excellent coverage under a very small amount of Nivea tinted mosituriser which gives just enough of a gleam to look healthy and not shiny:)

eta - just saw on your post that you use Sand Beige in Colourstay which was my colour too, I found the Asian BB creams very pale, lovely to use but still pale although I didnt try the Missha brand:)

Sexyjacksparrow - I use my skin79 BB cream as a base/foundation then use Lily Lolo Porcelain powder on top. It still looks natural but gives me extra coverage for bad skin days and mops up the oil!

I just got some L'Oreal BB sample sachets through the post. My delight was replaced by disappointment when I realised they send Nude Magique in Medium and Lumi Magique in Pure Beige (I'm as white as the proverbial ghost). :(

Was curious to try out the L'Oreal 10 in Light but the swatches online look too orangey for me, anyway.
  • I have tried the Skinfood Aloe BB cream. It's nice. But I would like to try the Skin 79 and the Missha as both have great feedback from users. Any other BB creams worth trying?

Your right the Loreal is very dark, I'm using the light shade in the magique bb cream and its very dark and I'm tanned, its a shame because its a lovely product.

I'd agree- the L'Oreal BB creams are way too dark and I don't even have totally pale skin! (Its pale but not that pale). The foundations aren't too bad though, Ivory Rose is very pale- actually too pale for me. I think there is another slightly yellow/warm toned (as oppose to pink/cool toned) which is just a fraction darker.

I still rate the Maybelline BB cream though as its one of the best I can afford. (-There are many others I like but can't afford) It looks like it doesn't match when you first apply it but after about 5 minutes it seems to settle down and matches fine.
  • I have tried the Skin 79 Vital Orange SPF 50 the last few days and I am not a fan. Its just way too thick for me, it makes my open pores on my nose look like craters!

Coverage: good to full. Better colour I think than the hot pink, less grey caste but still pale. Matt finish.
oil reduction: seems very good, didn't need to blot after a few house.

  • I like the Loreal BB cream but i mix it with a tiny bit of benefit tinted moisturizer you rebel lite, because the loreal bb cream is a bit too white.
Doesnt superdrug have their own BB cream??

I'm waiting for a Holika Holika to arrive from Korea. Apparently it's been delayed because of the Olympics :rotfl:

Well the Olympics have been and gone, still no sign of my Holika. No doubt it'll be the fault of the Paralympics now. EBay had to force her to refund me, she wanted me to wait another fortnight. Hopeless. Now I'll have to start again. I'll be old and wrinkly by the time I get some.

I've just ordered some of that, which seller did you use?
