I did get the your bonkers speech at first so I just told them ok ill take my custom elsewhere who are willing to take my money and take me seriously. They've lost out big time.

When we started planning earlier this month for next Septemeber people were looking at us like we were a little crazy...I really didn't think 16 months was that big a deal? I know some venues that are totally booked 2/3 years in advance!

Getting married in Italy in August 2014.I haven't booked anything yet but we have a date in mind and guests are already onboard! We are going to view the villa and meet the caterer at Easter next year when we'll pay deposits etc. We'll be honeymooning with 35 of my closest friends...we can't wait!

I have now paid the deposit for our venue and have already paid deposit (50) for our registrar to hold the date- though cant give notice until a year b4!
I have contacted a hair dresser who has been highly recommended but he isnt taking bookings for 2014 yet, he has put me in provisionally to give me first refusal of our date when he does start taking bookings.

I've so far managed to book the venue and the videographer (he's taking bookings for 2015 already!!)

I've got quotes off dj's and ice cream vans etc so it really isn't too early to book things

I'm getting married in April 2014

Got engaged in Feb this year and we paid our deposit for venue yesterday so its all starting to happen now yippeee

(and just bought the wedding insurance today!)

I'm getting married May 2014. I got engaged June 5th 2011, we are having a loooooong wait because one year was too short of a time to save, and I can't get married next May as that is when my dissertation is due in, so we are getting married the year after I graduate!

Yep, May 2014.
Haven't been with OH long at all but we know we are soulmates, known eachother for 17 years and are like 2 peas in a pod!
We can book the registry office 2 years in advance so we will be doing so next month when I start my new job xx

OH and I got engaged two and a half weeks ago and we're looking at getting married in October/November 2014. The reason being that we're going travelling for eight months from September so wanted enough time to plan when we got back, and we both thought that an autumn wedding would be easier to plan for because you expect dodgy weather rather than fretting about whether it's going to throw it down.
