I am back, pre gym pre make up.

Note to self. Do NOT google names of illnesses. The doctor even said don't do it.

Any how I was scared before - at the doctors and now I am scared again.

I must try and focus on the positives. As much as that from someone else would normally mean I wanted to slap them

    1. so far it is not the dangerous kind

    2. I am not in debt at the moment and can manage to have debt to solve this problem. I still have a decent credit rating

    3. It is solvable. thank God I listened to my beauty therapist person and went back to the doctors (Twice) to get a proper diagnosis.

    4. shallow but true - Bare Minerals makeup !!!!ing amazing.

there are other positives. but I do need to start layering on the make up!!

    thanks xxxxxxxxx

    Hey Buffy.

Sorry to hear about all this cancer stuff :(. I'm glad it's not serious though.

If I were you (and in a financial position to do it), I would get it sorted privately. I know it will cost money, but I think your confidence and well being are way more important.

Anyway, big hugs and I hope you can get it sorted soon.

    Emz xx

(thanks for the Bare Minerals tip BTW, going to have to try some myself :)).

    Hello buffster!

You probably don't remember me but I used to come on here a few years back :)

Just read a few of your posts in this new thread... sorry for all the bad news! Though I am glad you are debt free - that is good news.

I am, alas, not debt free... which is my own fault really. :)

    Take care !

I hope you got on OK today and know what your options are.

It can all be sorted quickly and I can understand why you want to get on with it. I just hope you didn't faint at the cost!

    Best wishes

  • I didn't make it to the hospital on Thursday, have had such a busy week I just forgot believe it or not! had to mark, pop to the bank, go for a facial and then head out to dinner. Was meant to hospital when at bank (same place) but nope. drove home instead!

Am going on Monday, nothing else is happening then!

To be honest I am seriously nervous about it all. I know have to go, it's both the treatment and the cost .... these bridges need to be crossed! I will feel better when I know exactly what I am dealing with.

On the plus side my nose is looking better now it has healed from the acne cream disaster. It looks like it looked at the start and yesterday I went out with just foundation and no concealer its a little smooth bump. little thing BIG problem!

In other news I am getting my marking finished which is a wonderful feeling. The house is a semi mess.

Moneywise, hmmm. my CC is paid off in full each month - recently eset up the DD. I didn't realise which account it had been set up from. I am hugely relieved I never did cancel my OD from Barclays as I paid for the whole of May (vet bills, petrol, birthdays, nights out, shopping) on the CC. I set up the DD in June so the first payment went out in July, in effect I paid for May AND June in July's payment over a 1000 pounds, it came out of my barclays account oops! so I have been over drawn for about 2 weeks but hey ho you live and learn. I have shifted money around now and it is sorted. Such a weird feeling still after a year to be able to do that.:rotfl:

I have pretty much decided that a loan will be the way forward for both the nose and the teeth situation. It really will !!!! up my summer. I hate having a job you can't take time off from. Equally tho in fact more so I want this sorted as quickly as possible. And I am lucky to have the time I guess.

Loan wise I will be back here to pay it off as quickly as I can.

Today is about pets and marking. Some light tidying and some toast.

    have a good day everyone

Essentially I took the week off of real life!

didn't go to the hopsital didn't go to work didn't get up until I felt like it

    Friday - drinks from work

Saturday - Batman movie FABULOUS! utterly brilliant and would go see it again!!

Monday - so hot I got sun stroke so cancelled my date

Tuesday - very bad date in a nice restaurant started off so well and I really liked him but no. :(

Wednesday - Was meant to go to on another date but after Tues my heart was not in it at all so went shopping instead

Thursday - My date cancelled on me! was ok tho cos I had been lazing around and didn't feel like going out at all.

Friday - Lunch at a friend's house and then the AMAZING OLYMPICS. thought the opening ceremony was fantastic. I know it cost loads but honestly a bit of happiness goes a long way.

Today I didn't do a thing apart from clean the bathroom and nap. I am so good at napping!!

I have a very busy week next week

Monday - with Friends and a date! lol
    Tuesday - at the Olympics
    Wednesday - nothing yet :)
    Thursday - Olympics again
Friday - helping with an animal rescue situation
Saturday - date with hopefully a very sexy man.
    Sunday - nothing yet
    Monday - Olympics again!!

I feel very lucky to be honest. I have processed loads this week. REALLY thought about what I want. And I am excited about the Olympics. Just think it is amazing!

I have a note pad I jotting my plans down in and am considering a new diary depending on the hospital and dentist and bank!!!

    Hope everyone is ok

    Love Buffy
