  • I think I am having a post period bout of depression. sorry to overshare but everytime I have the painters and decorators in I get a fit of the miseries.

This has been made worse by a guy l liked messaging to say he was being made redundant and so was moving out of London. I wrote back to say we weren't ever going to meet and he said no, probably not and really we should just be friends.

You wouldn't believe how much this hurt me! lol. It is ridiculous! I should have known though, he was not hugely keen at times - at other times we chatted online a lot but cos we both work so much and as the Olympics are on we couldn't meet up.

I think I just liked him cos he was normal (ish) good job, smart, funny on chat. I was dubious about meeting at one point! My experiences have been interesting...... They have religiously turned out so far to be prats.

    we have had

The married one - nice guy total laugh but married,

The Smelly one - lovely guy very sweet but serious hygiene issues. messaged me afterwards to say he never got a second date didn't know why........I STILL think I should have said something.

The nice but please marry me now guy - who was LOVELY good kisser, funny sweet all good but then was all about how do you think we should bring up the kids which country would you live in? where do you see yourself in five years. When I said I was too old to have kids he insisted I wasn't and said that we could get medical help....... this was all on a very long first date!

so yeah online dating not brilliant. plus I have no clothes and no money. and the Olympics are almost over. They have been amazing, I have never seen London so happy. The Volunteers are just brilliant and it really makes you think about crazy things like (this is properly nuts) world peace and the potential each of us have and why most people (and certainly a number of women I know) live lives of quiet desperation.

Any way this is quite likely all down to hormones!!

my list of things to do is massive and I am getting very stressed by the prospect of work - 3 weeks away. This feeling makes me realise I have to get the resignation letter in.

I made my appointment with the hopsital re the nose situation 15 th of October........

so tonight I need , a padded cell and a list of new swear words.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

I know I shouldn't laugh but your dating stories did make me giggle. Makes me realise how lucky I had it when I met E, he was the first one I chatted to.

What colour are you going? Mine is desperate for a colour but there's no point this time of year as it just bleaches straight out, the greys are shining brightly though and always stick out at odd angles...what's that all about?

  • Another online dating related disaster today. The guy wasn't how he presented himself - he was still nice but there were holes in the story shall we say. Nothing terrible but no chemistry either.

The really off putting bit was when he said he wanted to go home- that whole this has been nice but no chemistry came from him and I was sitting there trying to be nice.

So yeah I have another date on Monday, but I am not holding out any hope. He seems very young for his age and pah I don't know I can't be bothered.

Have taken headache tablets and can't type any more. I love Syndol but it sure messes with yourhead!

    Will write more tomorrow

    xxx
