Buufy, ask your dr to send you to a priviate consutant, mine did with the moles i had removed. He can then tell you more about it and the likely cost. I had mine done as an outpatient and it was £400. so i was there in the morning and done and dusted.

Have you any sort of insurance with work which might cover some of the cost?

The cost will depend on if they can carry out the procedure in a treatment room, which costs a few hundred pounds, or if it needs an operating theatre, which I think is reasonably likely. I didn't see the invoice for mine but would expect it to be four figures.

As with all things, it is a question of balance.

If you don't get your teeth and nose fixed, then this will affect your confidence and this will affect your job performance.

So get them both done. I know you want to save for a mortgage, but it would be alot quicker to save for a rental deposit. Then you would have one MAJOR source of stress taken out of your life, the ongoing issues between you and your mum/sister.

Sorry about the dogs. How is it you aren't walking them though? That was just another way of your sis inserting herself into your life.....

Good luck with the date, but seriously buffy get your health sorted and then move out.
I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

    Hi Buffy

Sorry to hear about the nose situation - sending hug.

I think Chev is right, priority should go along with how much stress things are causing you. So nose would be first, privately if necessary; then getting out of your mum's house (including rental), because frankly it sounds like that is not getting any better and the interference undermines what you achieve in other areas; then teeth, because they're not as urgent as nose (can you get them done bit by bit?).

I think you're brave to try dating while you've got all this going on, I am not making major efforts in that direction until I have my masters finished and will be less stressed. But it all depends how much energy you feel you've got to give!

I am currently carrying my resignation letter around with me.

Part of me knows I need to stay to get a mortgage (long term job perm etc) the other part of me who supresses the urge to shake my boss REALLY hard most days says !!!! it you would be ok on supply/other job.

SO I am going with when the time is right I will know. The letter is written and what happens will happen.

As for the nose situation well...........Thursday I am off to the hospital to investigate prices and what not. It is actually more scary than I first thought but it is what it is.

It is like the universe is playing a massive joke on me. One of the things I said about the acne and spots was that I could cope so long as it wasn't on my nose. SO I get a "spot" on my nose. I think ok at least it isn't skin cancer and ok so it isn't but it is on it's way.

Today as Beanie would say, I just keep plodding.
