    Hi Beanie.

Things are good. I have 10 weeks of work left before maternity leave starts and we are moving in 3 weeks on Firday so lots of change coming.

The move is making me consider a new diary to keep the spends in check before they start...

    How are you?

    Hello again,

It's going to be a quick update as I have loads to do this morning but I really need to connect with this place again. It is the only place I have any success when trying to change things.

My typing sucks on the netbook, i have to correct so many mistakes!

I think I will just do two lists

    Good

    1. Mum is feeling better
    2. puppies are cheering her up
    3. two weeks till summer holidays
    4. I bought new hutch for the piggies which will be better for them all round
    5. I have managed a year without debt- I have paid my CC each month except one which was an oversight.
    6. I have been on about 4 dates from a dating website

    Bad

    1. puppies are expensive - they need a lot of brushing which I didn't know and Mum didn't do - she knew but forgot I think so now they have matted coats and have to go get it all cut out.

    2. My sister now walks them with Mum each day so she is perfect daughter. I am scum cos I keep going out and I haven't paid back money I owe her - she didn't tell me but told mum instead.

    3. Work is dreadful. as bad as it has been. got obs next week and book monitoring. she will find a problem as she always does and I will spend the summer holiday worrying. Iwas only staying now for the mortgage but see below

    4. The spot on my nose turned out to be a type of skin cancer, it is curable, removable etc, and unlikely to be dangerous but it will leave a scar- well it depends on the quaility of the surgeon.

If I wait for the NHS it will take months I can go privately but that sods up the savings plan

also I am in the middle of getting my teeth fixed which will also take savings.

so mortgage is even further away.

so yeah not sure what to do. I have written my resignation letter. earliest I could leave is Christmas and then work supply.

there aren't any jobs well haven't been for months. but the relief would be great.

and of course now I need to pay for teeth and the skin cancer - the waiting list is 2 months for the first appointment, another two months of walking round with this thing on my nose, after the doctor misdiagnosed it as a spot and gave me cream that made it red and burnt and left it constantly bleeding. It has been SUCH a knock to my confidence. Not been going out much.

If I go privately it can be sorted in the next month, as in I can see someone in a week and have it removed soon ie in the Summer holidays, no going into work with a scab.

SO yeah not really sure. Life with Mum as much as I love her is getting ridiculous. Trying to write the essay with her being all miserable cos she is sitting downstairs on her own was tough. My sister still visits every week on a Saturday so that limits the practical stuff I can do.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

as I thought the netbook threw a fit and lost internet connection!

Just one thing, for people who know me on FB I haven't said anything about the skin cancer yet, so please no mention there.

The doctor was fairly sure that it was the non scary kind. I won't know for for sure till the biopsy, but he started with it won't kill you it won't spread, it doesn't make you prone to other cancers.

    so am not that worried.

I do need to clean out the piggies pre date,

I will report back later, I would say with a plan but I am going to leave that till school is over

I didn't get to clean the Guinea pigs out. Mum made breakfast.

Which is lovely but also annoying and typical of the problem.

any how now i have to get ready for the date. I absolutely do not feel like going.

    AT ALL.

    need to mark

    need to clean animals

Should have seen him yesterday. !!!!.

    hurry up summer holidays.

Just de-lurking to say that I had that operation last year on my nose, which is the most common place to get a BCC.

I needed a skin graft. What I hadn't appreciated was the need to stay with my head back and having to sleep propped up for quite a few days after the operation (to reduce bleeding I think). I don't do sleeping propped up so it drove me mad and I hadn't realised how many tasks required leaning forward. If you need a skin graft, you might want to ask the surgeon how long he/she expects you to take it easy so you can factor it into your plans.

I was advised to get a cosmetic surgeon to carry out the procedure since it was on my face.

    Take care
