My hour today has consisted of:
Hoovering upstairs
Laundry
Scrubbing muddy dog prints off the carpet downstairs
Panicking because the carpet now looks really blotchy and I think I have ruined it
Bleaching the sink to take my mind off having ruined the living room carpet0 -

I used up my hour and more doing a clean and hoover through the house. In doing so, I noticed the windows need cleaning - darn... Not that I got round to doing them, just noticed, need to warm up to some chores....
I just need to tidy the kitchen after dinner preps and I'm done.
Good luck on that essay lamarsi

Good luck Lamarsi!
My hour was mainly cleaning today, not very exciting!
I had settled down this evening and was watching rubbish telly when the dog decided he wanted to play, so I got off my bum and took him a quick walk.
I am being productive even when I have completed my hour now, what's wrong with me?!0 -
Hope the essay is going well Lamarsi!!
I was at work last night but during a lull I sorted a pile of paperwork that has been lurking forever. Checked all my emails, made a list of things that needed doing and completed all but 6 things.......it was a very long list. Oh and tidied my locker so i can properly use it!!

Hi everyone,
Can "we" join please? I'm looking through the boards with DD (aged 11) next to me and we've decided to have a go. I say we and mean that I'll do it while she looks on.
I've done my ironing today so am happy to class that as my 60mins (it took longer but if I start to do some in the week as part of my allocated time then I might not have to moan for the 2.5 hour stint on Sundays)!
So tomorrow morning (between me getting up and the children getting up) I will do a huge pan of mixed bean soup and clean the oven while its cooking). If I have any left over time I'll polish the conservatory!

This thread really appeals to me - I must be the biggest time waster ever! I don't work atm and find that my time just fritters away and I don't get anywhere near as much done as I'd like, leaving me feeling a bit lazy and unmotivated tbh.
Just written a list of jobs for tomorrow. Think that might be my problem, there is always tomorrow! So will pick a couple of jobs off the list to do tonight.
Ironing should take about 40 minutes and will spend the other 20 for today on filling in child benefit forms and some 'personal fabbing'. Body moisturising, facial, pedicure etc. Spring is coming and I need some tlc before the layers come off!!:D0
