Today's hour was spent doing gardening, and I had a lot of 'help' from the dog!
  • I can feel a trip to the tip coming on tomorrow. Also need to do my fitness dvd. Bedding can all be washed tomorrow too.Oh n hoover if i get chance! I've started setting the timer on the cooker and blitzing till it buzzes. Then maybe a bath, exfoliate and start making my feet more summer friendly.

Resisted the urge to sit down with the laptop and instead sorted out DS3's clothes into underbed storage boxes. I have been given lots of clothes from a friend for when he is older, and have until now, been storing them in a suitcase which isn't the best way to see what he needs to have bought for him. Anyway, spent about an hour doing that, but meanwhile realised that the other 5 kids need their clothes sorted out at some point as well :eek: well, that's just gonna have to wait!

    Morning folks!

    Oven done :D
It took 40 mins and I can now see through the glass door - wow!
I'm just having a cuppa and might do a quick 5min dust before the kids get up. A vacuum through the house at some point this evening should finish my hour!

It feels very rewarding and I'm ridiculously proud of myself Thanks for the thread! :A

Made a really good start to this challenge. Did my promised chores on Sunday night and have managed to cross off some overdue stuff on the list today too!

In the time saved, I baked the kids a cake, caught up with SIL on the phone and then visited parents for a coffee. A MUCH nicer use of my time than faffing on the web or watching dross on the tv

Fingers crossed I can keep it up

  • I'm going to join in on this. I've got 3 weeks left until I return to work from maternity leave, and I've got a lot to do to get ready. I've been lurking for a few days, and today have bought extra baby grows that I've been meaning to buy for weeks, I tidied our bedroom, took my vitamins, booked a bulky waste collection and put all the 3-6 months clothes in the wash. This is an excellent thread!
