I did wonder why your grandparents were perched up there!
My 60 minutes has been made up of sorting laundry out and doing odd bits of paperwork for work.
Next job is to fish out all the dog toys from beneath the various chairs, cupboards etc!0 -
Hi All have been sticking to this (ish) lol
My house does look better :A Could look even better but I am getting there .Lifted the door mats today rather than pretending they are stuck to the floor :rotfl:And cleaned the hob,and did some laundry as it was nice to be able to get it on the line for once.
Cleaned all the glass tables (as the sun was shining and they looked dreadful )
Tomorrow the bathroom and that will probably be my hour up !
Debt free and Mortgage free thank you to all for your encouragement and advice :j

I'm completely new to the forums but wanted to say hello, and I love the sound of this thread!
My goal is to spend 60 minutes exercising at least three times each week (running - or jog/walk if I am really honest!) and on other days to spend productive time either gardening, reading, or doing some yoga.
I work in a mental health team by the way :-)0 -
Good to see everyone doing so well at this challenge
I'm not sure if I'll manage a full hour later as today is the day I do 2 jobs...& I feel shattered so it might make more sense to spend the time in between just doing the essentials & then relaxing, don't want to tire myself out before I go to work again!
So here is a little list that might not take a full hour, but still means I should keep on top of things:-- Put a load of washing on
- Cook
- Get petrol? (Might leave this until tomorrow...although the orange light is on, oops)
- Arrange car viewing for tomorrow
- Reply to wedding emails
- Pay off recent order
- Do some surveys

like my previous post said I've just been looking thru my paperwork to try and find details of loans et and I've noticed that the secure loan that i took out in 2006 only has an interest rate of 3.5 %. i've been over paying for a while with the idea of clearing it b4 the end of the year then start to overpay my mortgage but just noticed that my mortgage is at 5.6% I'm in a fixed deal, and I'm sure I can over pay by about £4k a year...
I could kick myself, I could have been over paying on the higher interest rate, oh well better I found out now I guessi am a financial twit:(

Hello :hello:
I have been following this thread and have decided to join in because I am very guilty of wasting time. My most 'wasteful' time is when my 3 year old has an afternoon nap, I tend to either watch a bit of tv or peruse this board  so I find that time flies by without anything much being achieved. Anyway, today, being spurred on by friends visiting tomorrow, as soon as DS3 fell asleep, I cleaned and tidied the upstairs bedrooms, hoovered, and changed 2 lots of bedlinen :T. Quite pleased for myself, but am cream-crackered now :rotfl:
