the seller would not need to "Harrass" the OP if she could be bothered to leave feedback.

What a ridiculous argument. There is no need to harrass EVER, regardless of whether someone leaves feedback. All it does is invite negative feedback, and deservedly so. As I say, one polite email is enough.
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.

It is part of the process though. Sellers will not get their money anytime soon unless buyers leave positive feedback so whilst you have your item the seller is out of pocket for that and the postage.

Goodness those that are in favour of the OP seem so arrogant and unaware of how Paypal works for sellers.

I leave feedback for the buyers as soon as they have paid and in return I expect them to leave feedback on the day they recieve the item.

New sellers who have a hold placed on their paypal funds, will get it released after 21 days,.
The Op would possibly have left FB if the seller had left for her and explained that she was a new seller so Paypal were holding her money until after FB was left or 21 days had elapsed.
If that is indeed the reason for the hassling, then the seller would be better off just leaving good polite Fb for her buyers, that way they may be more inclined to leave speedy + FB for her.
I personally don't expect FB or bother about getting it, I leave for my buyers on posting their items.
If a seller leaves FB for me then I will leave for them in return, otherwise I think that they aren't bothered about it either.

Have you put in the tracking?
That should get the funds released.

You will need to call paypal.
  • How exactly do PayPal hold back funds? I bought a divan via eBay about 5 months ago. I wasn't particularly thrilled with it but that's what you get for buying cheap. I didn't bother leaving feedback and not once have I been chased for it. If PayPal hold back funds unless positive feedback is received then why hasn't this guy bothered, I doubt he would be happy about being £150 out of pocket?
And when I've sold items the money hits my account straightaway, feedback or no feedback.

If you look at the link, it should be released with proof of delivery, if you've entered them

Paypal hold funds for sellers they class as new, maybe the person you purchased from had been selling on ebay for a few years?
