Personally i think this is quite selfish, you have time to be on here and write long posts but you cant be bothered to take 2 seconds of you time to leave feedback, as said above, paypal could be holding their money and they need that feedback. (regardless or whether its 99p or £99)
Seems like the OPs username on here is quite appropriate! lol:beer:0 -
I agree, people who refuse to leave positive feedback annoy me. Wouldn't think of harassing anyone for fb though, crazy. But then maybe people wouldn't be driven to harass if they took two seconds to LEAVE SOME FEEDBACK! Feedback is important in more than one way, it also lets the seller know the buyer has received the item.
Grey.which I consider to be blackmail anyway
Melodrama, much?0 -
I always leave FB for buyers, nearly always positive with all 5*s, but if someone repeatedly hassled me for feedback, then I'd be SO tempted to leave a neutral saying "nice item, here's the feedback that you repeatedly demanded", and I'd also leave a low star rating for communication.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
Even though the women (or man) was really rude to you in the email, feedback is exteremly important for companies on eBay AND Amazon, I would go as far to say that it either makes or breaks your company.
I know that having email after email asking for feedback is annoying and it does encourage you to leave negative feedback, but you have to see it from the other side. This company is trying to make a success and they are right when she said that it does only take less than a minute to do. You could just write 'A+++' like most eBayers do.0 -
for a fraction of the time it took to write your mse vent you could have logged in and left fb for seller. if you have a sick son and feeling strained perhaps you could only see from one perspective and i can sympathize that you might have felt harrassed at someone asking something seemingly trival from you at a difficult time. . the seller doesn't know your personal circumstances, perhaps they too have a sick family member and are desperate for good fb to activate more sales, perhaps they just desperately want to feel like they have done a good job in selling and are now exceedingly worried you aren't pleased, etc. take a deep breath, make a cup of tea and when you feel like it, lift a weight from the seller's shoulders by leaving fb. you can feel like you have done a good deed for somebody - indeed, you will have done.0

She has not at any time suggested that she is out of pocket, or that paypal is with-holding the money. The sole focus in the four messsages over the past seven days has been requests for feedback and making it clear that she will not leave me feedback until I have left fb for her.
Of course if paypal was being difficult I would have no problem at all in helping her. But this is just hassle for hassle's sake - she hasn't given me time to even comply with her request, before she sends the next one.
Anyway, thank you all for your comments, they are appreciated.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
I have to say it does annoy me when people do not leave feedback.
I once bent over backwards to help someone and really put myself out for them and I was very surprised when I did not get any feedback.I feel it is common courtesy and a part of the Ebay process.
That being said, I would never ask for it.0 -

Like I've said above, I know how annoying it is for people to keep on emailing you, but this woman is trying to make a living. As previously stated, she may too have a sick family member or is struggiling for money (like most of us) and is trying her best to get the best feedback as possible so there is more chance of her getting more orders.0
