No buying unnecessary toiletries in March - Challenge

Ah what we'd do if we won the lottery is one of mine and my OH's favourite subjects! I'd definitely quit my job which is heavy going at the moment and I couldn't justify staying in it if I didn't need it financially in any case. I'd like a nice big detached house but nothing ridiculous, wouldn't want to be rattling around in it or having to clean it all the time, don't think I like the idea of having a cleaner! I'd pay my families mortgages off and give them money to do what they liked with. I'd organise a big family holiday with lots of us, my Grandma would absolutely love that so it'd be amazing to be able to do that for her. Shoes are my vice so it'd have to be some lauboutins I think. Would then travel the world, starting in New York, 5 star, 1st Class all the way, lovely!!
Back onto subject (and down to earth), two UU yesterday I forgot to account for - last sachet of Garnier BB cream - have already declared I probably WNBA - fine but too sheer to wear alone, at this time of year in any case, and not really beneficial under foundation although did provide a nice base, probably not worth the extra faffing.
Bath Bomb Co. Purple Daisy Bath Mallow - lovely, left the bath water ever so slightly oily but not too much so - did have a flower in as the name suggests but only one which was easily fished out of the water - only one of these left now out of a set and would definitely BA as they're really nice
Have a lovely weekend everyone, I'm taking advantage of an early finish today to unwind before going to pick a no doubt drunken OH up from his works leaving do later on - should be fun :rotfl:0 -
warning clarins bonus time at JL 22nd march to 7th april......be strong you do not need anything:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hi all, me again.
Another two UU for me today! I'm on a roll, long may it continue :rotfl:
BS sweet lemon body butter 50ml WIBA? Yes, I think I will, I know some have mentioned it smelling a bit like jif/cif whatever it's called these days, but I quite like it. I will treat myself to another when the stash has decreased a bit. I like 50ml BB, enough to last a while (for me anyway :rotfl:) and just enough not get bored with the smell.
*I'd like to try the sweet lemon shower gel... hehe.
Tesco Cucumber facial scrub WIBA? This was okay, gentle enough to use twice a day, I might do once the other scrubs have been used up.
That leave me with three opened body moisturisers to battle on with (I finished my favourite two first)
I've also switched facial moisturiser from a No7 (I wonder if this is too thick, clogging my pores?) to the Neals Yard rose freebie to see if my skin will calm down a tad, had an awful continuous breakout recently. I like the consistency of this, quite thin, hopefully this, and upping my water intake again will help.
Have a good evening all, and a good weekend. Fingers crossed for good weather!0 -

ok a few outs today yeay! My Carmex tub got err eaten by the dog... so it had to go in the bin lol. I got rid of an old 3/4 used tooth paste thats been in a box from our house move 2 houses ago! (so about 2 1/2 yrs!) and at long last my face wash was done hurrah! So now onto a witch hazel face wash that was next in the use up line. Cant say I am too excited to use it up, but meh, its the only way to get the stash under control
2 ins today - used my no 7 vouchers. I got a £7 30 spf lip and eye protector for 42p! (with voucher and my staff discount) and it will be handy in the summer and on holidayI used the other voucher on a no.7 gradual fake tan so rather than £9 it was about £2.50 ish

Trudij, bit late I know but sorry about your break up. You obviously have a kind heart (as evidenced by your goodness to the ungrateful lodger) and plenty of self respect so I know you won't be damaged by what has happened. Onwards and upwards! It's springtime, so get out there and enjoy yourself and you'll meet somebody nice, I'm sure.
Not sure whether this will help, but I found the book "He's just not that into you" very healing when I was in a situation similar to yours. Made me resolve to look for what I really wanted out of relationships. Anyway, if I were you I'd be getting the best flipping nail job I could afford, why not? Go to Aintree and flirt with other men.
Rosemary, I was shocked by your story about your previous BF! Think that sort of thing is more common than we realise.
Have a great weekend everybody.
Almost forgot, Kaz, if you're down to two long sleeved tops I hope they are also long in the body. I know the weather is a bit warmer but still........!0 -
Blimey - have only been away for a few days and suddenly 7 pages appear - working my way through but need to go and get DDs ready for bed so am stopping to reply to a few posts then will read the rest later with a glass of wineWell I love the new cleansing balm - left my skin all shiney and new!! I have VERY reactive skin, so the fact that it has not caused instent problems is good. Will have to see how it continues. Have to say, I think it will take some getting used to the fact that it does not foam up at all. But first impressions are good. Has anyone else used this??
Willowbe - yes it was a perfect day. decided to leave the planing for the rest of the week. dont want too much excitement in one day!!
I agree - this is lovely to use - I was so impressed I bought the 200ml pot as I can see that this has the potential to be a HG product. The smell is divine and it really does leave your skin squeaky clean (but not dry)Well I have resited the BS 40% off code :j
Have got a couple of splutters and tubes cut off but no UUs yet.
My arms are peeling even though I have put lots of body butter on them. Not sure what else I can do.
I always find dry body brushing works for me if I have flaky arms - brush from the wrists upwards in long strokes - it gets the circulation going and helps slough off any dry and flaky bits of skin. HTH
And a huge thank you to my MSE Easter bunny :icotbaske- am playing with my INs tonight...
I will be packing my Easter surprise up this weekend and posting next week.0 -

Kiplingmonkey - I'm with you on the HG potential. Think I'm going to buy another one while it's on offer - I seem to remember them saying there is some March promo on this product???? Might have got that wrong tho.
Anyways, another one for the stash I think - off to log on to Quidco now!
Done it - it was March 'product of the month' so no P&P!!
