I have a UU! I have finally UU the bottle of NV remover so that's gone out.
Unfortunately, my new NV has stained my nails pink despite me using a base coat. Not sure what to do there apart from not wear it on my finger nails again. It doesn't matter so much on toes because it gets replaced with new as soon as it's removed usually.
My hand cream is spluttering so that will be gone soon, I haven't noticed much of an improvement with my nails but boy did my hands need the moisture. They get so dry with using the alcohol gel constantly at work.
Really tired tonight so am hoping to be in bed by 9.30-10pm. That probably means I'll still be reading at 1am though, my book is quite addictive.

Ruby-eskimo - I had the same experience with SLS. It took about a month for my scalp to normalise. It was such a relief! If you still find that you're losing a lot of hair then it might be worth getting your vitamin D levels checked - a deficiency can cause hair to fall out. (I was deficient but that is because I'm ill anyhow).

Kaz - that must be a great book that you're reading :rotfl:I hope that you get your early night :)

EvilSquid - I was happy with my Jolie Box as I've not had any of the products before. (I unsubbed from GlossyBox after the Christmas box and only re-subbed for the Harrods box.) I really like the look of the multi-use product and the colour of the other thing (not giving it away!) was the one that I wanted :-)

Kind of off topic but thanks to this thread have just purchased a couple of Kipling bags through Amazon, used money earned through topcashback, plus a 20% discount code so they worked out around £12 each :D I know people here like them, sorry if its off topic
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

UK_American - got any room in your tent??

    awwww trudij. :(

It is actually a two-person tent, I'm picturing it now, we'd be a made for reality show on the tele, travelling up and down the UK with horses and tents, dedicated to encouraging ladies to buy less and clear out their stash through talks in town halls and on High Street on Saturdays (right in front of Lush or Boots)!

It would be on Channel 4, right after SuperScrimpers as we'd probably appeal to the same audience. ;)

Small L'occitane hand cream sample - given to me by my lovely easter egg swap buddy :) I love this stuff so much, it only took me 2 days to finish it lol

  • evening ladies,

trudij - sorry to hear about your break-up, sending you hugs, xo

One uu to declare and a TA

Uu Sanctuary warming microdermabrasion polish - this is lovely, just scrubby enough and I do like the warming sensation (although that doesn't last long). Having said that I think I prefer Clinique 7 day scrub so have pulled one out of the stash to start using next.

TA - Naked volumising mousse - this was horrible, made my hair like sticky concrete! not quite the effect I'm after so I binned it. I really haven't had much success with the Naked range and may well bin the remaining products I have.

    happy pampering, xo

    Dollypop - well done you!!!!!

I must say, I have never been interested in these boxes (thankfully), would much rather browse the shops and spend the money on pretty little things that catch my eye!!

  • (((hugs))) trudj and willow...willow, are you getting support/assistance/representation? I work for CAB so I know the nightmare that IB/ESA transfers are causing. PM me if I can help out at all.

TA - some dodgy looking soap. I have no idea where it came from. I am finding it easier these days to throw things out. My current shower gel is lasting FOR EVER! I am so bored with it, but feel that I must finish it before I bring something else out of the stash. I wouldnt mind, but I didnt even buy it. MIL has some fixation about shower gels and sent DD home with the biggest stash in the world. I'd probably be a bit happier if they werent ASDA's lol. I havent even counted them in my stash. I'm very tempted to crack open my S&G case ;)
