Oh Trudi... At least it wasn't in the middle of last week, but you deserve good things.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0

So long Vera Wang Princess! It's been a great 6 years but I'm sort of glad to see you go. WIBA? Yes, love the smell but I'm on to the next perfume which is TommyGirl10 and I will possibly open up my Lacoste Pink perfume which I received as a borthday present.
I used to think perfumes should be used for special occasions but now I've realised, I will never finish them if I continue with this approach so I use it for everyday use.0 -
Oh Trudij - That sucks - what a clown of a man!! Sound's like your doing okay with it - stay strong.
Kaz - I don't get it. Its not like you were touting your own debt managment company business!! Overzealous mods.
2 more OUTS - Clinique dual lipglosses x 2. One was a UU and the other I will never use. I don't even remember buying this lip gloss with sparkley bits in it  It must have been a GWP as I don't have a clue who would want such a lipgloss. I still have a ton of lipglosses left but only one dual left. Slowly getting there...
Also a bit of good news today. My travel insurance claim has finally been settled - after five months of stress and worry about it. I am delighted with the result and was well worth my time and letter writing to get a positive outcome. My cheque arrived today :j. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted as I had this big bill over me for months plus the fight with the company .
BUT now that has gone I am now finding time to obsess about the truely trivial issues in my life Gah!No buying toiletries Graduated May 2017Decluttered 2016 2469 items, 2017 1580 items :j2018 3060 itemsSealed Pot Challenge No 0380 -
My nails stain really badly with the blue colour on too VALM unless I use a nice thick base coat. I am currently sporting alternate peppermint/ urban purple nails
, highly inappropriate colours for me but I love them!
Aah, I was lazy actually and couldn't be bothered going upstairs for my Nail Envy which I use as my base coat. Put a coat of Essie to Dry For Top coat under it instead. Lesson learned.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Although this is expensive, the Lavender one is my HG, it is very gently on eczema hands, and indeed feels very healing.
L'Occitane Verbena liquid soap is my HG as well. I know it's expensive but I don't even need a full pump of it for each wash though.Hot off the press!! Ladies, I just had a text message from sister2, and I have to share as I know you'll understand!!
"For my birthday I would like a Clarisonic"
Where's the best place to buy one?
I "think" I've seen them advertised as coming up on BuyaPowa. Have a nosey on there but don't get distracted by all the other goodies.Hello Ladies!!
I was doing so well - then I turned on the TV and QVC beauty, you can guess what happened next......
Well, today my lovely package of Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm arrived!!!!! Can't wait to give it a try. I have just finished my Alpha-H cleanser, this one was cheaper, everyone on TV raving about it as per usual - I was sucked in, I'm weak!!!!!!
Oh well, it's here now - I'm going to give it a good trial. If it's no good, I will return it and order the Alpha-H again.
Just been to the post office - my supprise easter gift is in the mail - hope you like it!!!!
Went out to a garden centre eariler with mum, stopped for lunch and bought some nice new plants for the back garden. Can't decide if I can be bothered to plant today or no - may just leave that exciting job for tomoro!!!!
Hope everyone is feeling upbeat today with the sunshine:j
We got Sky installed last week and I've tried watching that QVC Beauty channel but I don't like it. It's like watching an infomercial rather than the chatty kind of bantering kind of sales you get on the original channel!
Keep thinking that I'll try Alpha H. Do they ever have a TSV?
We're off to the garden centre on Saturday to buy a plant to place where Max and Millie are buried in the garden.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Trudij - i hope you feel better soon! you aren't alone in what he did, my ex did that to me! spent a year happy to have me act as his gf but would never admit it or call me that. in the end we arranged a date and he stood me up (telling me half an hour after he was supposed to have met me!) cz apparently he'd been on holiday and not emptied the bin and its smelt. i told him to man up or leave. he left and i got DH.0

Trudij men can be such w*****s:mad:before I met DH I was with a man for two years half live in(not the done thing then esp with my mother.....DH and I lived together for 6 months as his tenancy finished before we got married and we kept it secret....I was 25 at the time:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)and we befriended a woman and her husband killed himself(never sure if it was did he fall or was he pushed)and 1 day completly out of the blue he called me up to say come and pick up your clothes I am marrying ***:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:to say I was shocked was putting it mildly, even worse I worked for him and saw them together at work when she came in.

Hugest *hugs* for you Trudi - he was stupid to not see how absolutely amazing you are. We're all here for you
Thanks for the tips about the Clarisonic guys. She does know how much they are, which is why she wants it as a birthday present I think! :rotfl: At the price it is, I will get bro & parents to split it with me, but then again, they never gave me the money back towards her Kindle last year! (It's alright, I get the money out of them towards other bits) Just checked BuyaPowa VALM, it's no longer on their coming soon list
LilMissEmmyLou Thanks for the suggestion, my sister is just very particular about things, she wouldn't admit she liked my Aldi night cream (thanks again Hanval!) despite me finding it in her room when I went to use it almost every night!!

Ohh and RE Arnica cream, if it really has real Arnica in, not the homeopathic sort, it does really work for bruises. I have a problem with my legs that means I bruise like billy-o. Mind you, its probably lush on your feet too lol.0
