No buying unnecessary toiletries in March - Challenge

Resist the beauty boxes, ladies! Resist!
I've got two UUs, really pleased with myself.
Alberto balsam conditioner, mandarin and papaya flavour. Bought this as my gym conditioner some tim ago, it's been hanging around for ages. Alberto stuff is always good value and this smelled quite nice but WNBA. It wasn't rich enough. I've decided that you don't have to spend loads to get a good conditioner though. My mum buys the Schwartzkopf stuff (yogurt plus various things) from Home Bargains and that seems to work really well.
BS passion fruit shower gel. WBA. Body shop are really good at making fruity scents that aren't too sweet.
Because the weather is quite good, decided last night to start making inroads on vast self-tanner stash. When you're born with my skin colour (I call it Celtic pale blue) you tend to be keen to find a decent self tan so I've got loads. I decided that I couldn't break into my nice new Makebelieve one until I have exhausted my boots no 7 one. God it is a LHJ. The colour is OK but the stuff is a weird slimy texture and takes ages to rub in and is prone to going streaky. Boots have the temerity to call it 'quick drying'. It's not. I can think of many things quicker drying than this, one of which is the North sea. Sort it out, Boots!0 -
Alton Towers, I quite like that eyeliner too
Very easy to put on and has fairly decent staying power for the price!
Sawan, there is a similar item done by Rio which my OH bought me 2 years back. It did a great job and costs about £50 - may be a good alternative if your sister will go for it?
Oh and still no more UU for me... face wash and body wash are still not giving up! But both are still so close to being done! Same with my deo. I just need all 3 gone by end of March please0 -

I know lots of you are already signed up for the Amarya beauty box but for anyone that isn't they are going to start charging P&P from tomorrow. I think that you need to set up the DD today to avoid the increase. It doesn't effect current subscribers, including those that sign up today
I don't want to panic anyone into subscribing. I've only subbed to replace Carmine. I know that beauty boxes aren't for everyone
Scrappie - it sounds like you have had a lovely day:)
Have you used anyone as a referral to get the 13th box free???? Well I love the new cleansing balm - left my skin all shiney and new!! I have VERY reactive skin, so the fact that it has not caused instent problems is good. Will have to see how it continues. Have to say, I think it will take some getting used to the fact that it does not foam up at all. But first impressions are good. Has anyone else used this??
Willowbe - yes it was a perfect day. decided to leave the planing for the rest of the week. dont want too much excitement in one day!!

Hi, looking for some suggestions, it seems that my skin is looking dry and flaky after a day at work. I seem to have solved the problem on weekends to think its due to the office being so hot and dry. Any ideas on how to stop my skin drying out during the day.0

Oh Scrappie, you are such a bad girl, I have been telling myself that a) I do not need this, b) I should spend the money on the garden or on fuel for the motorhome, c) it is all QV* hype, then you come along and tell us how good it is!:DThe best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time.
