    awwww trudij. :(

It is actually a two-person tent, I'm picturing it now, we'd be a made for reality show on the tele, travelling up and down the UK with horses and tents, dedicated to encouraging ladies to buy less and clear out their stash through talks in town halls and on High Street on Saturdays (right in front of Lush or Boots)!

It would be on Channel 4, right after SuperScrimpers as we'd probably appeal to the same audience. ;)

:rotfl: :T:Twe'd be brilliant !!! Kinda like the hairy bikers but women... ;)

Thanks again everyone - still a little sad,but its fine.Much better than I thought Id be!!!

Ive found somewhere near me that does shellac - it sounds like its much nicer for nails than any other types - ive never had things like this done before, the odd time ive had manicures its just been normal varnish after.... thankyou all for the advice though - its going to have to stand up to quite a bit of hard work though - Ive got the dog, and Red (who might be home at the weekend - yay!) and work all potentially chip-making... i hasvent looked for a "contact me" part of the website, but im sure there is one - maybe i will ask. Shes got french manicure shellac wtih a silver glitter on - its quite discrete and i think i might get away with it for work.... I could have it done the thursday before Easter and hopefully it will last all the time through to the following weekend... dont mind after that !!! :D

    Dollypop - well done you!!!!!

I must say, I have never been interested in these boxes (thankfully), would much rather browse the shops and spend the money on pretty little things that catch my eye!!

Well the idea was that I wouldn't be tempted to buy stuff because I didn't know what was coming in the boxes so might duplicate! Sadly this has been an epic fail! Is it bad that the Debenhams beauty hall girls know me by name because I'm such a frequent customer?? :rotfl:

I'm almost to ashamed to admit this - but you guy's won't judge me, will you??

Years ago I got to know the girl on the YSL counter in Debs very well, first name terms.

I used to pop in after work, if I was going out in the evening and she would 'do my face' for free.

I realised I had passsesd the point of been a customer when sitting in her kitchen discussing the makup article in Cosmo:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We became firm friends, have been for years:D

Willowbee - Thanks for that, I had never thought that Vitamin D would have anything to do with it. Thinking about it, I am probably deficient because I do shift work and mainly spend the rest of my time indoors otherwise. Oh and I wear factor 50 suncream on my face every time I do go out! Better go get myself some supplements I suppose!

    Well done you :T

I am onto a new lipstick which I am loving. It's a Stilla one. Never used any of their products and I am very impressed. Lovely colour (Anna) and it goes on so well and stays put. Got it in TKMaxx as an impulse buy for £2.99. :)

Also splutterer update - L'Oreal eye make up remover.

Off topic, but will put it here rather than a pm in case others benefit. Willowbee, hope you can get the advice and support you need with the IB/ESA migration.
I work full time but although I've never had IB/ESA, I will be affected by the DLA/PIP migration next year. I'm a member of lots of supportive and informative forums. Google 'Spartacus Report' to find out more or look for Spartacus on FB, if you use it.

EvilSquid - I was happy with my Jolie Box as I've not had any of the products before. (I unsubbed from GlossyBox after the Christmas box and only re-subbed for the Harrods box.) I really like the look of the multi-use product and the colour of the other thing (not giving it away!) was the one that I wanted :-)

well i wanted to try one of them last time but obv got the dud GB :rotfl:

JB has just been cancelled too. :j

I have a slight nail dilemma. My nail colour I had done last week is starting to chip, so want to change it, but I had a badly broken nail which she glued back together (using nail glue and a bit of cotton wool fibres). I'm worried that if I take the nail varnish off the nail will come unglued and its broken really high up. I suppose I will have to stick with the tatty varnish a bit longer unless anyone has a solution.

It might hold if you remove the polish with a non acetone remover??

The other option would be to paint over the polish you've got on - a coat of glitter polish over the top will stop your colour looking tatty and refresh your manicure.

very tempted by the 40% off TBS but resisting at the moment by reminding myself the stash is meant to reduce not increase! :o

Me too. Nearly ordered a Satsuma body butter the other day thinking I had only one fruity body lotion left but then remembered I have a couple (including one open and in use) of bottles of Elemis Lime and Ginger hand and body lotion so used that on my body yesterday instead. It's very thin though.

UK_American - got any room in your tent?? Ive just been dumped again, figure its becoming an annual event... cept this time its not to get back with his ex, or anything like that - its becuase he doesnt love me, he knows that i love him and he feels like hes using me.

FINALLY hes been honest with himself and me - its a shame its taken a message from a friend of mine (that he doesnt know I know about!) to have pointed out that if he cant admit publically that we are together after over a year then he needs to decide what he wants to do becuse its not fair....

still friends - and Im not half as hurt as I was last time, chiefly becuse ive been expecting it for almost 5/6 months now,ive always had the feeling that hes been waiting for something better to come along - and thats no way to live.

No UU either. ah crap !! xxx

So sorry to hear this trudj. You deserve better. Love should not be a one way street. Take care - Val x
