Thanks guys, its fine - Im not sure about the having self confidence bit - i miss him like mad - hes not even all that special!! (and clearly barking mad! ;) ) but to be honest, nothing is all that different really - we didnt see each other loads anyway becuse of the distance, and we still chat loads (and its all started by him as well - its for all the world like he misses me too - but im not daft enough to think its any more than just both of us getting used to the not being "together" any more.)

Rosemary - Red wouldnt mind shellac glitter toes im sure!! Shes home now, and looking all fat and shiny - losing her coat,so doesnt look as good as she could do, but she still looks good. will put a pic up for you all to see soon :)

UUs - dont tell anyone, but im down to single figures of bars of soap... and Im ditching that Percy and Reed (or whatever its called!) shampoo and conditioners that came with Glamour - i dont like it at all. thought id give it a bit of time, but nope, it feels nasty and greasy after ive used it. Given it to mum !!

    enjoy the sunshine people!!

UU a Botanics nourishing body butter 50ml - wnba very thick consistency, like green emulsion paint.

Also UU Toni & guy Shine Gloss Serum. This was perfect size for a handbag but probably not very cost effective, so will try to manage with swapping my larger serum about.

Thinking of treating myself to something by Decleor, possibly the aroma night nourishing face balm. Does anyone have any decleor recommendations? Thought I would reward myself once I have had a few more UUs and a few weeks of not buying anything.

  • I'm glad everyone else is getting sunshine, Edinburgh is covered by a big patch of fog coming off the sea :(

Although with it looking so depressing outside I did manage to spend a couple of hours messing about with my stash this afternoon. I am now thoroughly motivated to not buy toiletries ever again!

Last year I started this challenge with 20 different facial moisturisers, and today I counted up the stash and after a year and 3 months I have....... 20 facial moisturisers . I have managed to replace all my UU with new ones!! Most of them are GWP or trial sizes so perhaps its not as bad as it seems.

So far this year I am doing better at not buying new things so I might get the numbers down a bit with any luck. Will post my UU for the week in a new post because the forum does seem to eat long posts!

Don't forget Boots have a Clinique GWP at the moment so if you are going to fall off the wagon may as well try to be MSE about it and get some freebies ;) I like their anti redness green make up base but haven't tried the cleanser and moisturiser.

    .

only thing is cant buy it til after payday and the offer will have closed!

you wouldnt happen to know roughly how often this offer rolls around would you? x
  • Hello again

I have loads of UU this week, full size products and everything, its been very exciting!

L'Occitane Shea hand cream - WBA, love this, although I think I have enough hand cream to last til the end of the year at least. And not to mention the body lotion mountain which I'm sure could double up as hand cream.
No 7 Intelligent Colour Foundation in Light - WMBA, I like this because its easy with only having 3 shades to pick from, I really hate having to pick a new foundation shade but the coverage isn't very heavy and it is still quite pricy at £7.50 with a £5 voucher. Will ponder while I UU all the other open foundations in my stash!
Arran Aromatics mandarin and mint body lotion - WNBA, it was a hotel freebie but I wouldn't even take it away for free now! Was really runny and didn't like the smell
OPI Nail Envy - WNBA, I'm sure it does all the great things its supposed to if you use it properly but I don't so it just became a very expensive base coat. The little bit at the bottom went all gloopy so will have to chuck it.
Aveeno radiant moisture lotion SPF15 - WBA, picked up a free sample of this in Boots and was really impressed, had a nice texture and could put make up on straight away on top. Its a new product so not sure how much it costs but will keep my eyes peeled!

I wouldn't bother with the Decelor face balm Clarey. I used some up last autumn and I thought it was a bit rubbish to be honest. It was like nicer-smelling Vaseline!

Oh no, I'm tempted to buy another one now - will maybe see how I get on for the rest of the week. It is great as an exfoliator with the rosehip seeds as well - you can make it really scrubby if that is your thing or you can just add fewer seeds for a gentler exfoliation.
Kiplingmonkey -Don't do it, don't do it!!! Well, that's what I should say - but you will save on the P&P if you buy before the end of March.

Off to the naughty step now for egging you on - I'm bad and I know it:D

Was a little tempted to buy the balm with the rosehip, but decided that I must use up the two Decleor ones that I have in my stash!

Clarey - I have used the baume essential for a while, my mum has used it for years. It worked really well for me as my skin is very reactive. TBH that's the reason I usually buy 'new' products from QVC, at least I can use them for 30 days and send them back if my skin reacts badly to anything. Can't do that in any high street shop - AFAIK!! I'm sure lots of people will have oppinions on this, it's up to you to find what works best for you!!
