I also think the optimist is right, the last few posts are just what we have needed to focus us all again. And CAFCGirl you should feel bad, you have inspired so many people... and we all hope the broadband gets sorted!

Hopefully catch up with you all on Monday!

Am a bit confused - should that read 'SHOULDN'T feel bad instead of SHOULD?

Anyway, day 17 and have spent absolutely nothing unnecessary for 17 whole days -wooohooo :j :j Forgot to take my lunch to work today and when I nipped out was really tempted to buy a baguette or something equally as tasty, but though "Martin (or rather CAFCGirl) says no" :money: - so starved instead and had something when I came home. Am off tomorrow to pick up some stuff I have got on freecycle site - so another no spend for me!!!:D

Good luck for the weekend everyone and happy saving. :A

Well done Sue, although it was never my intention that people should starve for this challenge!!!!

P.S I'm pretty sure it should have read "shouldn't"........... at least I hope it should have......

I've made those muffins too - they are brilliant! In fact I might just go and make some now. Nice to think of the smell of banana muffins filling so many homes this weekend.

Re conditioner - my daughter says you can get it for 19p in Sainsbury's - must be cheaper than some of the OS recipes!

Hi, I've made banana muffins using that recipe a few times and we all love them. Sometimes I add 50g of choc chips/choc pieces/any left-over choc, if you have any and they're even more scrummy!
