I have blown it.
Received some money I wasn't expecting from my Dad's estate and booked a last minute holiday.

brassiclint - could you PM me that flapjack recipe? Whenever I make flapjacks they fall apart.
seaxwyn, this is the first time i've made them so i'll let you know if they fall apart or not and then i'll PM (i'm pretending to know how to do that!!). they're in the oven right now .... and my weighing scales have packed up so i'm guessing weights and measurements ....
also ... i get confused with some of the abbreviations .. i know what BF/GF means and guess OH means other half ... but what does DS means .. is that Daughter/Son?Total debt as of May 2007: Tesco [STRIKE]£8499.65[/STRIKE] £7,333.57;

I have a dilema if the weather is nice tomorrow, I've been waiting and waiting for weeks for a few dry days to dry out the garden a bit so I can get on with doing the stuff that I want to do. However, that means I need to buy the stuff first - argh !!! I do actually have the money sitting in my house savings account. Oh well, you never know, it might actually rain tomorrow.
Alternatively I could go out and take some photos as I've been waiting for a nice weekend to do that to, and that would cost me absolutely zero (well maybe some petrol depending on where I go to take them).
Must print my mothers mother's day card this weekend too, am thinking of using this photo that I took in her garden last year.
For what its worth- that is a lovely photo- and even more special as taken in 'Your' mums garden - I'm sure she would love it on a Mothers Day card:TAre those shopping bags you're carrying really bags of debt???0 -

I did that one year for my mother, she still has the card on display.
Had a change of plan re the garden. I'm going to repaint the fence as the paint is in the shed (unless it's gone solid), and therefore I won't spend any money, and I still make the most of the nice weather.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -
Guess what I'm doing this afternoon? Yep that's right ...... making those gorgeous banana muffins
Hello CAFCGirl's mum - hope you are okay - and I don't think there is anything wrong with giving your little girl a free sachet of conditioner - after all, it's the thought that counts :rotfl: :rotfl:

As a matter of interest are all the participants in the challenge female? It's not always easy to tell with the signin names.
My guess is yes, so it might be easier to ask:"Are there any men in this challenge?" Come on, show yourself!
Is that silence I get? :rotfl:He who asks is a fool for five minutes, but he who does not ask remains a fool forever.
