Fantastic stuff PAP, hope it all sells well.
Today I'll be parting with some money (unfortunately) bread and milk needed!
Also going to visit my old landlord and hopefully get my old deposit back, seems to be taking a while!!!!
Other than that I'll be doing some cleaning as well, and just general tidying as I'm back to work tomorrow after what feels like absolutely ages off!!Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
Also remember I have to complete my mystery shop today!Wealth is not measured by currency0

I have been thinking a lot about what is necessary and what is not. When out yesterday I looked at wine glasses as we seem to have had lots of breakages recently. After deciding they were not a necessity we came home without spending except the £5.05 on lunch and the food shopping. I checked my e mails and had a reply to my freecycle request for any odd wine glasses. A local pub were giving them away so DD and I went to collect them. Result 10 perfectly serviceable wine glasses for nothing! I would have been really annoyed if I had bought them and got home to an offer of them for nothing. Thanks to all for the inspiration to do this challenge. I have to admit I am enjoying doing this and after DH and I both being on large salaries for many years we are now living well on less than a fifth of previous income. I am not working but actually saving money by being at home and actually thinking about and controlling our spending.

I'm glad to say I went for painting the fence, the garden looks so much better, the previous owners had left an entire huge tin of paint plus another one that was about 1/5 full. Haven't quite finished it, but I appear to have hurt my wrist again (am prone to RSI anyway), so that put the end to the painting.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0

Hi folks,
Went out on the monthly food shoping trip today& found myself egging on other half to spend money to buy clothes for forthcoming holiday with DS, DDIL & the babes!
We did get bargains, but I am now struggling with the Why question! (Cos I need to spend even if it is second hand?)
OK not me who spent & if you look at previous posts it may make sense, but in my head it doesn't.
I got a bit of those 'past my sell buy date' thoughts but they were taken over by why should I spend money just to keep up with fashion! Being a fat b****d I have never aspired to being a fashion victim, rather my clothes buying philosophy has always been find what they got in my size and if it doesn't look too gross buy it!
I did want to feel good about not buying for me, but in reality if I was a size 12 - 18 I think I would have spent!!!!!!!!! Since Ash Wednesday I have tried really hard not to spend unnecessecaily and felt good about it so can any of you tell me why I have such an urge to spend today??0 -

AS far as church is concerned half way through Lent is Latare Sunday when you can forget your Lenten promises and celebrate, feast, because you have managed to get this far. So, I think that maybe your shopping trip yesterday was your Latare Sunday equivalent. I think today is Latare Sunday but not sure.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527
