Does anyone know it looks like I took my loan out about 2 months before the dates applicable. Can I still claim?

Hello and appologies if this is a repeat question, I am just joining the band wagon for PPI, I am trying to find out if I had PPI on an old settled Cap 1 credit card... I have rung them but because the account opened in 2004 and ran until 2008 they have no details to give me, does anyone have a number or address plz that I could contact to find out if i had a PPI running for the time I had this card, Many Thanks:o

I would send them a SAR request and a 10.00 cheque
I was sent all my data from 2002 they do keep them not all banks but I was sent mine from Cap I allow 40 days .

Many Thanks for the info Maggie xx to be cheeky do you know where I can get an up to date address to send SAR to please as all my statements are very old and not sure if i have the correct address anymore. Do I also mention that I want to know if there was a ppi or account cover on there or will the SAR cover this plz?

I have already claimed for ppi through a claims handler. ( about 3 years ago ) The firm has now contacted me saying that the law has changed since my claim and they now believe that I might be owed more money because they can go back longer. I contacted them and said the 25% they took last time was to much where as some firms only charge 15%. They said that not all firms can claim back as far as them. Is this correct ?

I own a limited company and we took out a couple of bank loans (which are now fully repaid). At least one of them has PPI or sorts. How do I establish if this insurance product was miss-sold and can I reclaim PPI as a limited company?

PPI wasn't available on Business Loans AFAIK

Can anyone please help me, i had a morgage and loans with leeds permanent buliding society but it no longer exists, i though it was part of the halifax building society whom i am still with but after enquiring they said they couldnt help, me, i dont no who to contact now to find out if i had ppi.
