We had a joint loan to fund our fertility treatment with jamjar.com. I'm pretty sure we had PPI but what can I do?
    Did it work
  • :(Hi, my first time on here! I would like to know if i stand any chance claiming back on a flexi loan protection plan & also a cardholder repayment protector plan with HSBC? I have contacted them with all the info & dates etc but their reply stated that they would offer me the premiums back if i can provide proof from statements as it falls outside of the 6 years they are required to keep paperwork, I ofcourse do not have that paperwork now so where do I stand?? Thanks!
  • Is it worth my while to make another claim concerning the above as my bank have already stated its over the time constraints (now approx 11-12 years ago)? Thanks!

You stand without the documentary proof they are requesting. They may, however, offer a "goodwill" payment when you inform them that you don't have proof of payment.

You cannot complain more than once, any second "complaint" would simply be rejected on the basis that you've already complained.
  • Hi
My UK address has changed since I had credit cards etc. Is this going to make searching a problem?

You gave this company £6,300 (plus VAT) for doing something you could have done yourself and for free?
You're recommending others use them as well?

Do you work for them by any chance?
  • The following statement is made in a letter received by a company I am currently claiming compensation from for a Card Protection Policy:

'You will only receive compensation for the amount paid for your policy since 14 January 2005, as this is the date the Financial Conduct Authority (previously named the Financial Services Authority) started to regulate insurance products like these.'

Is this correct? I had taken out this policy long before this date.
