They have already referred you to the response in 09 and have said that is the final response, see what the letter said when you get it, if you did not receive any money in 09 i think they rejected your claim.

Let me know what the letter says, if it was a rejection then the 6 months have passed for you to make them reconsider, did you ask on the phone what the letter said and explained that you moved house and did not receive this?.

I received the copy letter in the post today and it said....
"I am unable to establish that you were provided with sufficient details to make an informed decision (....) we would like to offer £2790.27 as a refund of all premiums for the full term of the loan"

they have also included interest at 8%.

I phoned them earlier, explained that i had never received the letter they sent in 2009 and was told by them that i could still send the acceptance letter to them as they could see that the claim had not been paid out all i have to include is a photocopy of marriage certificate to prove the change of name and i'll have the cheque within 10 days!!!

    Hopefully it'l all go smoothly!
thanks for all your help guys :j

Your forum has given me the confidence to go it alone - such amazing support and information never done anything like this before ---- but have bitten the bullet - sent off SARS letters today to HFC & Santander and to FSCS regarding a Picture Loan.
Also rang Halifax PPI line - Had no more than the last 4 digits of the loan account number (got off my credit report) - Really helpful lady confirmed i did have PPI on a loan back in 2003. - i gave my reasons for Mis sale of PPI - tells me they will write to me within 5 days -

    Wish me luck

Hi i posted in the ppi success forum a few days back I have received a good will gesture off RBS but don't quite understand the letter hopefully someone can put me right.

I have put in 7 different claims and the first one posted back on 5th march i was hoping to have more popping through the door but to no avail,i take it they will be sent in drips and drabs???

another question looking at the declaration and acceptance sheet it says the following

"I wish to accept the banks goodwill offer of £XXXX on on the basis that such an offer is
accepted in full and final settlement of all or any claims which i might have against the royal bank of scotland group or any subsidiary companies
in respect of my natwest payment Protection Insurance for loan account number XXXXXXXX."

Will this bit in bold affect my other 6 claims if i sign the declaration sheet???

    thanks Alan
  • I have searched the forum for an answer to my question,
I see it's been asked before,But can not see a reply,

So my question,How far back can you claim,
I had a buisness development loan in from 1987 to 20002,
Also a bridging loan,Both were taken out with natwest.
I am no longer in buisness, and don't even know if i paid PPI as i have no paperwork to hand,Could you please advize

    Thanks John.

    Hi

Sounds like they are currently dealing with the complaint then and maybe it's one of their procedures just to double check randomly and go through it.
    Fingers crossed.;)

    Thanks Di,
The complaint was logged on the 17th February and my OH was told they wanted a few more details before they made a decision. However the information they requested was already in the questionaire and my OH was told they were just asking anyway!

    Perhaps doublechecking!!!!;)
    All fingers crossed :)
