Does anyone know the address at M&S Money for requests of the credit card agreement and SAR?
You won't ever receive the credit card agreement as the account is closed.

I could pick out that woman in a line-up, she still works at that branch.
You'll never have the opportunity to do that, of course!

The point is that your complaint is weak as you are making an unsubstantiated allegation of wrong doing. Look for verifiable complaint reasons.

Shoot, really? I think what HSBC did is fraud, but if it's irrelevant, is there a list of verifiable complaint reasons?

    Ta.

Right. Is there any other way of getting hold of it? Thank you.
  • HI there,

I wonder if any of you guys can help.
I have just received a PPI repayment from Black Horse, what's strange though is that i (Stupidly) used a PPI claim company to do all the leg work, so i presumed that i would recieve a cheque from the PPI company directly (After they had taken there 25%) not from the bank.
    So i am now confused,
Do i still need to pay the PPI company?
Have they already taken there cut?

    Any advice??

    Many Thanks in advance...

As I said about the card being in a credit balance, no 8% is paid for those months, contact the bank and see what they say about this 8%, if this was a goodwill gesture then I don't think they pay the 8% I could be wrong, ask the bank to clarify.

Rang them, they explained that they refund the card protection & the interest charged on it (14.004%) up until the account was closed, that's how they do it as its the most beneficial way for the customer...............

Hi there! Thanks for your response. In my original post from 28/10/2012, I said that I applied for the card at a branch and remember specifically being told by the lady who saw me when I applied for the credit card that I had to take the insurance, it's just a thing that all customers have to take, basically presented it as if it was a compulsory part of the package. I also remember asking why should I sign up for it if I was in full time employment and not expecting to lose my job. Her response to this was that you should take it just in case.

I could pick out that woman in a line-up, she still works at that branch.

Did your job at the time offer full pay if you were unable to work, did you have any income protection policies ,did you have any pre-existing medical conditions?

Yep, my job offered and still offers full pay if I am unable to work due to sickness, industrial injury, maternity leave, etc.

No, the Bank pay the redress direct to you. You will shortly receive a bill from the Claims Company which should clear up any confusion (as well as 30% plus VAT of your win!)

This kind of significant overlap of cover is a better complaint reason as long as you can provide evidence that this was the case at the time of the sale (and subsequently).
