My offer letter has arrived from RBS today offering a figure in full settlement of my claim.
There is no mention of any reduction to the amount offered through offsetting does that now I can be confident of receiving the full figure quoted in their offer letter?0 -

Hello all.
Having spent the last year or two thinking "pfft, I'd never be daft enough to take PPI" I've been casting my mind further back and realising I have!
Just been reading up and have two possible claims that I'm intending to pursue and would like a little advice before I get underway.
The first was a loan that I took out to pay off my student debts in 1994! Unfortunately I chucked all the paperwork when I moved a few years ago and don't even have the account number. Too long ago to show up on an Experian report I got a few years ago. I'm guessing I've missed the boat on this one, although I'll write asking for account details on the off chance. Any other route I should consider?
The second is an Egg card that I took out in 2000. I still have the original T&C's for the card and PPI, and I recall that a few years later I finally twigged I was paying too much for something that I didn't really need. I can't remember the exact date and this information is included on the FOS questionnaire. Should I be getting an SAR first, or is it just a case of filling in as much as you can?
Thanks in advance.0 -

Hi all,
I wonder if anybody can help me. I want to start to reclaim any PPI I have been sold as I remember on the phone once I was sold it, possibly one of the credit cards I had at the time.
As this was many years ago I don't have any of the statements etc with the details.
I just got a £2 online credit report from equifax but the credit I had shows this...
Communications Supplier from O2 (I)/ XXXXXX0812
Credit Card from Mbna Europe Bank Ltd (New Business) (I)/ XXXXXXXXXXXX3217
Credit Card from Barclaycard Centre (I)/ XXXXXXXXXXXX0237
Communications Supplier from O2 (I)/ XXXXXX8267
Communications Supplier from Everythingeverywhere T/a Orange (I)/ XXXX1676
Credit Card from Halifax Card Services (I)/ XXXXXXXXXXXX5759
Budget Card / Revolving Credit from Cahoot (I)/ XXXXXXXXX651P
Credit Card from Nationwide Credit Cards (I)/ XXXXXXXXXXXX3904
Credit Card from Hsbc Plc (Card Services) (I)/ XXXXXX8278
Credit Card from Bos Card Services (I)/ XXXXXXXXXXXX6351
Loan from Nationwide Building Society (I)/ XXXXXXXXXXXXX3101
Is that enough information? How can I get the full account numbers?

I claimed back the PPI on an old CC where I only had the last four digits.0 -

quick update on my claim to Capital 1. I received a letter today 122 weeks after I first wrote to them but within the 10 week perod they asked for to say that they need a further 4 weeks as they have had so many claims. Will let you km=now the final outcome when I receive it.
Caim with Lloyds - the follow up letter with reasos is still with the investigating team so with a bit of luck and all fingers and toes crossed thjey might just make up their minds to a positive outcome if they don't then off to the FAS it will go!If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.
