No, amersall, the loan was NOT repaid early. When I rang them and sai the offer was not high enough I asked them how they were working it out and they said that as neither us nor them had the original paperwork they had to rely on a formula. Today we have received a higher offer, but we still think that we paid something like £ 70/month x 60 months ppi so that still is not enough. Would be grateful for more advice, thanks, ridingwood.0

hello all
I am very new to this, hoping someone can help with what to do next . Sent a claim to Lloyds for 4 Loans taken out for a buisness that has now been dissolved The loans all had ppi and we had to have it to get the loans, Now the bank are saying that because the company was dissolved and there are no authorized directors, it is not clear how either the company or anyone else has the necessary legal standing to bring a claim againts the bank.
I have most of paperwork. Is it worth trying any longer or should I just forget it?
Thanks for help0 -

Hi Landa contact the fos to see what they say, it sounds like a load of cobblers to me but then i don't know much about business loans, I would say (to me) though it sounds like a fob off.0 -
Hi there, came to website and forum to see about claiming back PPI back myself. I have made a claim against TSB for an ongoing PPI on a credit card going back to 1998. I have received what looks like a standard reply letter saying they will not uphold my complaint. I am wondering if i blank out my name I can post on this forum the letter they sent and then see if anyone can give me any further advice in taking the complaint onwards.
Any help/guidance/constructive feedback is greatly appreciated, not sure if perusing claim is worthwhile and I am loathed to use a claims company.
Lastly this forum spurred me to do claim myself so thanks to the community even if it not going plain sailing :-)0 -

Hi there,
Am currently fighting one as well. What reasons did you give for missale and what was the co's reason for turning you down?0 -
hi there,
I stated that due to my age (just turning 18 a the time) and my naivety of not knowing about credit, pip etc that i was miss sold. Actually reading that back it doesnt sound to great... They pretty much said that even though the cant prove it there representative would of given all the required information etc to me. Problem is this was 14 years ago so alot of water has passed under the bridge. Truth is back then I would of believed what they said as read.0 -

Hi Yoga i have had this with tsb mself, i've had 2 credit cards for 20 years, the bank refused to even admit i had ppi, as i was self employed i could'nt claim. i was very friendly with the local branch manager but was told like so many that i had to have ppi to be approved for the credit cards, i have since found statements proving i had ppi I was of course not surprised, the fos are looking into this now, give them the 8 weeks then fos this.0 -

Were you working full time? Did you have work benefits, etc, that would have covered the repayments in case of unemployment (or death!) etc.? In other words can you prove that you did not need it, or indeed if you were working less than 16 hrs a week, it may not have covered you? They can't just say you would have had it explained to you. If I were you, I would look at reasons why it was not suitable for you and write back asking them to reconsider. Not knowing v much about your particular story, can't really help much more?0
