    Hi all just to let u know I sent a ppi letter off to Santander for my parents they've recieved a offer of 1300 pound which is about rite with interest so thanks for all advice guys they r well chuffed

    this is what i recevied back from sars report today
    im still waiting to hear back from nationwide, they have till 1st april .
    i was very shocked of amount of insurance i have paid :(.
    has anyone had any joy from nationwide recently with theirs

    Not been here a lot myself as you know but have started making regular posts again since yesterday, although I am not able to post as regular as I used to because of other ties, so catching up when I am able to.

    I'm not certain why you've posted this run-down of your payment protection insurance? If you are simply making the point that PPI was very expensive, I have to agree. If, however, you think this alone is a basis for a mis-selling claim then I hope you had other reasons as well!
    How come your SAR information has been provided after you have already made your claim with Nationwide?

    Yes, I'm still here Steve! :)
    My own complaint has now generated the letter informing me that HSBC's enquiries are "not yet complete" and that they'll write to me in the next four weeks to update on progress.
    I thought they had eight weeks to respond properly? Has this been extended again by the Financial Ombudsman Service?
