What will be included in the bankruptcy is any claim arrising from ANY PPI contract that you signed or came into force prior to your bankruptcy dateHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

I am trying to reclaim PPI from MBNA. I used advice from this site and used the consumer questionnaire from MBNA's own website.
I submitted this on 30th April 2012.
I recieved a letter dated 22nd May telling me they were investigating my claim and would issue a response within 28 days.
I received a further letter dated 29th May apologising for the delay and telling me they would issue a response by 26th June.
By 5th July, I had still not heard anything so I wrote again, complaining about the lack of response and making a Subject Access Request using the template I found from this site. I sent a cheque for £10 which has been cashed but I have had no response at all.
Has anyone else run into this tactic and what should I do next?0 -
Hi, just a quick question. Does anybody know how long MBNA say they keep records or credit card statements for? Many thanks in advance.0

when I have them - but I got a call from the FOS yesterday to say that they have upheld my PPI claim against M&S Money! Yayyyyyyy!
MANY, MANY grateful thanks to Cappo, Di, MagpieCottage and all others who provided helpful advice and support. xxx
Well... wouldn't you know it, I am STILL waiting to hear back from M&S Money! I've placed three 'phone calls and was told each time that someone called "David" will be 'phoning me straight back. I'm beginning to suspect that either David doesn't exist, or he's out there somewhere still struggling with Goliath....
Although, in fairness, they didn't JUST mention "David" in my first call to them (after having given them a week after the FOS had instructed them to write to me with an offer letter). No, then they said "Erm... we'll have to get back to you as we aren't quite sure what we have agreed to uphold..." ?!? This immediately followed up with "...but my colleague David is looking into it and will call you back either today or tomorrow." That was on Tuesday.
This bl**dy claim has been ongoing for well over a year... and to think that I was so happy it was all sorted! Grrr!!!
Keep smiling on though (even if it IS more of a grimace at the moment)!

Hi All, after several friends successfully claiming back ppi, I am now looking to pursue a few banks myself..
I took out a personal loan with Firstplus for a very large amount back in 2003 of which I finally paid off two years ago..
Has anyone had success with Firstplus? My payments were in the region of £650pm and secured against my property...again not one hundred percent sure if I took out PPI....
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Hi, my partner phoned First Plus about ppi they responded quickly sending a letter confirming that they were looking into it, then we had a letter with an offer. We accepted the offer but now they're saying our signatures are different! We now need to send copies of id with name and signature on,we think they are playing games but do go ahead as their initial response was quick. I'll let you know how we get on [if i can work out how to post etc!] Good Luck0 -
Help!
I have had a monument account since 2000, at the moment the balance is £2850. Sent off ppi claim letter and they have come back offering £3354 payment protection charges refund plus £1572 refund for additional charges.
If they deduct the balance outstanding on account I would still be in pocket by about £2000
Problem is I haven't had the account history from them ( although have asked ) how do I know this is a fair offer?
Also the letter says final response does that mean if I don't accept and send back the Form I will lose the offer ?
To be honest I would rather take the 2k ,pay off the card balance and be rid of them than gamble querying it and end up losing the offer or taking a year through financial ombudsman???
Help please0 -
Just a heads up to anyone who has a claim with Barclaycard that is being 'REWORKED'. The team from that department have been moved to the 'Current Active Claims' dept (these claims have to be resolved as per FOS time guidelines), there is no-one working on the 'Rework claims' and there is no time frame for when they have to be sorted or when anyone will start working on them again.
(will also post this on the main page)0 -

Just been called by the elusive David!! Apparently the confusion stems from the fact that the FOS accidentally forgot to include a settlement form in their letter for me to sign and return. Should be getting it by email today...
Just waiting for the next installment now - probably in which Darth David announces that he's actually my father and the guy I fancy is my twin brother... and the saga continues...0 -
Hi
I have a £20,000 loan (7 year duration) with Natwest which i have 3 years left to pay. I have been rewarded just over £8,500 for ppi, is this a good offer?0
