PPI Reclaiming Discussion Part 5

I have done all I can with mine and my wife’s just case of waiting for a response now.
Talking to family member last night about Lloyds his wife has had two loans with front loaded PPI.
She was diabetic only had one kidney and had a history ofheart attacks she was on benefit and did not work and registered disabled.
Unfortunately she has passed away I have read that a complaint can still be made, as this would form part of the estate.
Any ideas on what basis I would the claim on his behalf just the front loading ,health?
Anyone tried this and been successful?
The executor can make a claim against this PPI, they will have to send a copy of the probate form to the bank to show that they are handling the estate.

Hi everyone, sorry to jump into the middle of a discussion but hope someone can tell me if I’m moving in the right direction.
I’ve been getting loads of cold calls telling me I’m able to reclaim PPI but didn’t think I was eligible since the PPI I have had on credit cards, I have opted to take, and also had to use when ill and unemployed. So I start digging myself instead of handing my potential cash to these companies and remembered I had a Store Card a few years ago.
I have no paper work about this account anymore, have no idea if I was paying PPI and honestly don’t know if I’m entitled to claim - and if I am, where do I start? I have requested my Experian report in case the details are still on there, but not sure what to do after this. Can anyone tell me if it’s even worth pursuing?
I had the card 2003(ish) -2007: Dorothy Perkins store card, limit of about £500, paid off in full in June 2007 (but with a fair few charges on there over the years too).
Thanks in advance!!Good Luck to you all too!!

It is possible due to the time frame that all the data has been destroyed but there is no harm asking.0 -

i then asked for them to look into my claim again... the first time i put the complaint to them they took just 3 weeks to come back with a no.
i called them today for an update as the 8 weeks is soon coming to and end and they have told me they are still looking into it....shall i wait for them to come back to me again or shall i go straight to FO?
i only found out about the ppi on my credit card when i went into the branch to update my details to my married name.the lady dealing with me was going through all my accounts and she told me the credit card i had from 2003 to 2007 had not just one ppi policy on it but 3! i was shocked cause i had no idea it was on that card.she gave me the 3 policy numbers and all the paperwork and told me to claim.she also said that the card was taken out before the rules changed for selling ppi and 9 times out of 10 ppi was never discussed.0 -

Hello there
When I took out my loan I was told that if I didn't take out their PPI I would have to have the loan at a higher rate. This I decided to do. Can I claim back the difference between the two rates I was given at the time?0 -

Hi,
Can anyone confirm whether I'd have a chance of getting a refund. My situation is as follows:
Took out a loan with Lloyds back in Jan 2009 I signed up to the PPI because I was told that if a didn't I probably wouldn't qualify for the lone. Now the problem is I was told this in a one to one meeting and so it's my word against theirs!
Do I have a leg to stand on?
Thanks in advance for any advice on this.0 -
Hi, i received a call last year re claiming ppi, i agreed to look at it, they sent me a letter telling me how much my bank had agreed to pay me and asked that i fill in and send back the enclosed claim form before the cut off date.
I decided i didnt want to go ahead with it and therefore didnt send them the claim form back!
I received one further letter and phone message encouraging me to fill in and send back the form before the cut off date, i again didnt do this becuse i didnt want to go ahead with the claim.
This was november last year.
I am now receiving letters and calls from a debt collecting comp askingme topay a £700 fee for the ppi claim!
Can they do this even though i didnt even send them the claim form back?0
