PPI Reclaiming Discussion Part 5

Hi
Think I have digested most of the Info on here about making a claim for mis-sold PPI.
I have discovered that I more than likely had a Single premium Insurance having checked my bank statements, which shows I made just one single payment every month for the loan. (no other payment).
Having checked on Equifax and Experian It confirms that I had four loans (but may go back further due to only showing me 6 years statement). None of my loans went to full term as I re-financed/top up each of the previous. The last one I paid off in full about 2 years early. Having read as much as I can on here I still don't know if I will be entitled to any money back? Would the bank have taken any money that may have been owed to me and deducted it from my settlement figure meaning they owe me nothing? Sorry to sound a little thick, but finance is not my strong point. I am thinking of phoning Nat West as I still bank with them as I don't have any paperwork and no policy numbers (have the last four numbers from Equifax). One of the loans was a joint loan with my wife, could this make things difficult?. lastly would I have to fill in multiple claim forms for each individual loan?.
Hope you can help.

Hi Wanderer,
As you were only making one payment for your PPI and loan per month, this is indeed single premium, you are correct.
The loans you took out and refinanced on each time is a consolidation chain. Even though you have now paid this off in full 2 years early you would have only received a pro rata rebate on the PPI, the remainder of the PPI would have been paid within the settlement figure.
You could phone the bank and tell them the numbers you have from your credit report. You never know they may log the complaint for you there and then.
If you need to send forms just download them from this site and fill in a seperate one for each loan.
There is no problem with the joint loan you had with your wife just fill the form in and both sign the declaration.0 -

Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone has made a PPI claim with MBNA and if so, did you get an acknowledgement letter and how long did it take to get a decision?
It has only been 4 weeks but i have not had an acknowledgement or anything yet.:(

I have a claim in with them for my ex. Got two letters, one with copy of his agreement, etc., and a second one saying they could not find his account from the account number we gave them, doesn't make sense. Took about three weeks for their correspondence to come back.0 -
Hi,
Does anyone have the address you send your claim to for lloyds?
Many thanks in advance.0 -
Morning,
will the FOS send me an acknowledgement of my claim? I posted it recorded delivery on 2 May and have not heard anything. I realise the decision can take many months but do they send anything before then?
thanks0 -

On 8th May I wrote to various banks and card suppliers regarding obtaining credit agreements, and t&c. I've had some sort of reply from all except Mint. What should I do next? Is it worth ringing them? My card is closed with them now, not sure if this should make a difference.0
