No none of the questions on the form are irrelevant they are there for a reason, you need to put as much information on the form as you possibly can, due to fact if you don't it runs the risk of your complaint taking longer to complete as they would need to call you for extra information.0 -
Does a bank have to provide PPI payment details? We have requested details via Lloyds for my Mams partner who paid PPI on at least four loans. They have sent paper work out after we paid £10, but it doesnt show any PPI payments that were made, only the monthly payment in total and the letter from them says they are not legally obliged to show insurance payments. We're not sure what to do next.
Can I just ask why are you requesting details? Is this to check whether they had ppi or not?
If your unsure, fill out a questionaire anyway with the account numbers and send it in, they will find all the information for you, whether u had ppi or not it will still be investigated and any other linked loans etc..0 -

hi all, ive recently tried claiming back ppi payments made to Connells Resedential. I got a mortgage with RBS through Connells and the ppi protection was with Wessex-Group. I have been paying the ppi on my mortgage for three years. When i brought my house i felt pressured into taking the ppi policy as she was pushy and told me i could be refused credit. As a young (21 year old) first time buyer i took out he policy as she told me to and got a mortgage. After reading an article on this website it thought the ppi sold to me was something i didnt need because the policy will pay out a maximum of 12 months which would work out to under £4000 which i have savings to cover and my partner also works and i have family who would help me out. If i got sick my work would also pay out standard sick pay which with my savings and family helping out easily cover my mortgage. I sent Connells a letter explaining this and asked them for a full refund and that i would like to immediately cancel the policy.I received a questionaire which i filled and sent back. I have now received a letter saying i was not obliged to taking the cover and i signed the policy to agree, the fact that saving does not come into account as i would not want to use them in these circumstances and that my family might not necessarily be able to support me for 12 months. I got in touch with Wessex-Group and they told me the policy had not been cancelled so i cancelled it with them. What should i do now? send another letter or just leave it? many thanks steve

The cash loan 24,983.84 with loan for loan protection insurance of 5,856.75 is 30,840.59. Monthly repayments 619.86 which includes the cash loan and the LPI over 60 repayments plus interest which equals total loan £37,191.60. So you are right it does look like my husband was paying one monthly repayment.
The loan was repaid in full. Is there a standard letter specifically for this reason for mis selling? Do we need to go into any other detail or is this sufficient?
Thanks for the help
You just fill the questionnaire in to reclaim, or telephone the complaint in, use the Single Premium as the main reason for mis sell, you could put other reasons that you may have too if you want, they can only help, or just use the SP reason, put that you have just realised that you may have been mis sold this, due to the media coverage of late.0 -

Hello all.
Would be grateful for some advice. I had a loan with GE Money taken out in 2004 and paid in full in 2006. I contacted GE Money and they have told me I paid PPI of £3825. I did not know I had paid PPI and have never knowingly taken out insurance as I receive 6 months full sick pay from employers plus good redundancy package. GE Money have told me I have to contact the insurers they dealt with at the time to claim PPI back.
My question are GE Money liable or the insurance company and do I have a claim within the time frame 2004/2006?
Many thanks for any assitance.
Put a claim for mis sell into Ge, Ge will respond with why the insurer has to deal with this and will pass the claim over to them.0 -

Contact FOS and ask if they can help you to put the claim into the insurer, this may be the way to go.0 -
