I sent questionnaires out at the end of March. Barclaycard signed for theirs on the 4th April and Capital One's is still unsigned for.

I have been chasing Barclaycard and have been fobbed off everytime with: it will go on the system in ten days; today; five days; today or tomorrow. I have phoned them up again today and it is still not active and will be "today or tomorrow" and I will hear within 8 weeks, even though this is the 7th week they've had my complaint.

I resent my Capital One questionnaire and I received two letters, a day apart, and the first one indicated to me that they had my original letter as they speak about their sadness that I have had to contact them again. I spoke to one of their managers today who gets top marks for being patronising.

What's the point in the FOS giving deadlines if they know they can ignore them? It really cheeses me off. I hope I get enough to clear my balance on both and tell them to stick their bloody cards.
  • Hi can any on help? I've just had a reply from blackhorse to say that because the policy was sold by Motorline Skoda it is down to them and not blackhorse...but they are the ones taking the money surly it's down to them?

My husband sent the original agreement and all the documentation that we had.

You send the complaint to whoever sold you the loan and PPI, in your case it is Motorline Skoda.

I posted a few weeks ago that I had a reply from them saying no ppi on this account. Contacted them for a copy of credit agreement. A week later letter arrived but it was a statement.
Phoned them today said you sent me a statement when it was a copy of credit agreement I wanted.
They replied - There is a note on the screen unable to send copy of agreement because they don't have one as it was paid up in 2002.

A bit confused because on the statement at the top it says
    Loan type:
    You borrowed:
    Payment protection : No
How do they know if they no copy of agreement

Di is the expert with Endeavour, she will help you, but you are right, how do they know this if they have no agreement/ write back and ask how they have this info with no statement.

Hi Benji the banks/lenders will tell you anything, i was told exactly the same by LTSB, no details of any accounts but no ppi and i asked the same question, i knew i had the ppi as i always did and i have since found proof the fos are dealing with it now, keep at em.
  • I send Tesco Loans a PPI claim form on the 7th March which they acknowledged a week later and you guessed it, still waiting. So I rang them again yesterday for an update and my claim has now gone from case handler to QC department, couldn't give me a answer over the phone but and I quote 'It shouldn't take long now for a letter' but wouldn't give me a time frame.

The funny thing is, its for an active loan (well 3 more payments to go), so I feel for anyone who is claiming for an old loan.

    Just needed a rant :D
