any one have any advice on the above?
If I were you, I would send another copy of this agreement with reasons for mis sell and do a new claim, or ring them and ask why they have to go to the archive when you gave the agreement for this loan.0 -
Hi there
You have every right to make a reclaim complaint with your reasons you believe you were mis sold on, just like loan ppi.
I have not had any dealings with these myself, but wishing you luck on your reclaiming.:)
Hi
Thanks for your response. I am currently at 7 weeks and just really nervous as I could do with the money so badly at the moment as things are getting really tight at home. I haven't seen that many mortgage ppi rejections on here from the Halifax but mine isn't for TMPP...its a repayment insurance (ASU) that is taken within my mortgage payment each month. I had read lots saying that Halifax were auto-upholding but I think that has probably stopped now.
Will keep you posted x0 -
moneyangel22 wrote: »Hi everyone,
Back in 2006 I tried to reclaim PPI I was mis-sold on a loan from HFC/Beneficial Finance. Their solicitors were corresponding with me and eventually it went to court and a date was set for a hearing. I cannot remember what happened but I think something/someone scared me and I pulled out of the claim. The solicitors got me to sign an order to say I was discontinuing my claim and it was in full and final settlement of my claim.
I am really annoyed at myself because I think I could have won or if I was doing it now I would have stood a better chance of having my complaint upheld.
Is there anything I can do or have I put the nail in the coffin??
Thanks0 -
The one that you sent the agreement in for should have been dealt with they should not still be looking for this loan.

Thanks Amersall,
I will give them another ring today, and see if i can email or fax them the copy of the agreement.0 -
My friend called his bank RBS and complained about PPI he has been paying for 23 years. The bank wrote to him today with an OFFER for just over 11,000 the letter included a declaration to sign to take it no further so this to mean its not the full amount owed. Can someone please advise how he should take this further0

Hello folks, please can anyone help me, I had a loan with alliance and leics which was repaid in 2007, trying to reclaim ppi on this loan, santander (who took them over) say they are unable to trace an account for me, what do I do now??
I no longer have any documents myself, having stupidly disposed of them when the loan finished.0 -

First tip - stay away from claims management companies and attempt to do it your self.
The best bet is to contact the FOS (Financial Ombudsman Service) and get their advice.

If you have the breakdown of what the redress was and post it up, then we can see if they have given the full redress.0
